- B.CLINTON GOES DOWN IN HISTORY AS ONE OF THE WORST PRESIDENTS WE EVER HAD.
Now that he is no longer president why on earth is he suddenly in the middle of everything political !! - Reply to this comment
- I don't think bill knows how to grade a person. He said "if", grade lowered! Three "if"s meaning he graded Obama a "c"

- We need to think about what we can do ourselves now. Stop whining should be number one. It affects the sensitive emotional stock market, you know. Stop wringing of hands about Obama and deficit (at least for now. Get your own financial house in order. Start thinking about what you can do to create a job -- or what you think someone else can do.
The stimulus is just a bridge - a life preserver to keep us afloat. We're going to have to swim for shore.
I'd like to see more reporting about ideas and practical ways (innovation and invention) to get our economy going again - and less stuff about politics. - Reply to this comment
- I give him an A- also. He's done everything a president can do about the economy. What else can he or the federal government do? They passed a big bill giving states and local government a bunch of money with general guidelines. It's up to the states and local government and the PRIVATE SECTOR to use that money, and sweat and ingenuity, to pull us out of our slump.
Private citizens and private sector - step on up. Our turn. - Reply to this comment
- I give Obama an "A-" on appearance but an "F" on spending control, "transparency" and "bipartisanship". Remember, he promised those?

- Dont get me started on the sorry-azzed repg governors who want to get their picture in the news by saying they may refuse the money.
They are so full of *** - I can wait until the it comes time to make the decision. The electorate will crucify them!
Repugs suck! - Reply to this comment
- The do nothing policies are squarely republican. Their response on the Banking crisis = do nothing, let them fail!
Response on the auto industry crisis = do nothing, let them fail!
On the housing criss = do nothing, let them fail!
While campaigning on "deregulation and letting the markets manage themselves without oversight because they want small gvt."
Republicans are squarely repsonsible for this mess -period. GWB/Repugs ran up nearly 5 trillion in debt and what do we have to show for it??? NOTHING!!
What's funnier are the so called right-wingnut christians who are yelling - Why should I help my neighbor???? Not very Jesus - like but they only use that when it suits them.
Repugs are the scum of the earth!!! - Reply to this comment
- The Democrats were will to risk YOUR job, YOUR home, and YOUR savings, just so they could pick up more votes.
And many Americans bought this treachery hook, line, and sinker.
Shame on them and shame on those who rewarded them for this villiany.

LMAO!!!
Isn't it a handful of republican governors (with presidential aspirations) who are hinting that they might refuse stimilus money? One of them is governor of Louisiana... he would deny the people of his state the much needed help of federal money in hopes of advancing his political career. The republican party has become nothing more than a hugh steaming dung-heap. - Reply to this comment
- Bclinton is correct on the president and the administration being more positive about recovery! the president is still in campaign mode - it's terrible and horrible and it's going to get worse!!! he needs to understand as the country's leader it is his responsibility to set the tone - a tone of hope and optimism in the face of trouble and bad news. oh, and put tape over Pelosi's mouth, becasue all she can do is harp on the bad things and how it's going to get worse. if it gets worse now, it's on the Dems watch and they will pay in the next elections!!

- Bill...Go home to your bimbo's. The comments highlighted here are better saved for a private call to Obama. What part of the scenario is it you don't get...reminder...you are no longer a public official representing anything.

- "I personally believe, based on my experience over the years with the economy, that if we moved aggressively on this home problem a year and a half ago, even a year ago, as much as 90 percent of the current crisis could have been avoided," Mr. Clinton said.
Mr. Clinton forgot that a year ago the country - MY AMERICA - was run by Nazis and idiots. - Reply to this comment

Exactly. And Republicans in Congress tried to. The well known "Democrat Do Nothing Congress" of the last 2+ years killed one initiative after another to fix this, because they wanted the discontent alive and well come election time.
