This is the worst piece of legislation that has come down the pike since our nation was founded. And the Democrats have done Bush one better. Included in the legislation is a national database for health records on Americans that cannot be opted out of which can be accessed on a "need to know" basis....in order to create another bureaucratic agency, and give the major universities some work for their students while they are paying those high tuition rates. Just think of the potential and future lawsuits the legal industry will reap with such legislation. Imagine how it will affect the doctor/patient relationship, or how many people will not seek treatment until their conditions are terminal for fear that such information will become public. Just think about "shopping" for insurance, with all your health records, or whether or not during a divorce or job loss you consulted a mental health professional. Think how this will compromise those in the health care field when people willfully withhold that information so it will not become public such as HIV or hepatitis.

The only "change" this administration has made is a further decline in our representative government and Constitutional violations. And Obama is friends with Warren Buffett, so we now know that it is also "corporate" interests this communistic party also represents.

When a bill is negotiated in the dark of night without both parties being present, it is TYRANNY. When only ONE party is allowed any input, for 40% of Americans this bill is nothing but TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.

"Obama said to congressional Republicans: You can''t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done - SO MUCH FOR BIPARTISAN AMERICA - HE%u2019S NOT LISTENING TO HALF THE SENATE EITHER - That was used only to get elected%u2026 MORE like EXTREME left!!!"

OK, let''s do some math here. The vote was 61-39. Round that off to 60-40 40. Those who voted against the stimulus bill, the portion that Deletedid claims Obama refused to listen to, are 40 out of 100. Put another way, the number of Senators for the bill (60) was one and one/half times greater than the number opposed. Any vote where the winning side gets 50% more votes (60 total) than the losing side (40) is not exactly a close vote or a lack of bipartisanship.

Obama did not "refuse to listen to" the Repubs. He went way out of his way to talk to House Repubs -- on their turf, something Bush NEVER did with House Demos -- and he spent tons of time talking to Senate Repubs. As far as the "Extreme Left," the votes that made the difference came from 3 MODERATE Repubs. The last time the Repubs had anyone who could be considered even remotely leftist was a guy named . . . oh yeah, Lincoln! We (all of us, Demos, Repubs, independents, and non-voters alike) will be honoring that Repub Leftist''s birthday next Monday. Happy President''s Day!

In 1998, Obama was ''''''''the'''''''' leader in pushing Fannie & Freddie to sell homes to poor who could not afford them. His partner at those banks - Rahm Emanuel...

The Clinton Administration CRA was intended to have Loans backed by FNMA and GMNA to provide and be of assistance to lower income (fringe) Working Class Americans. It was during the Bush (he was the president from 2000 to current) Administration that the unfettered scam of lending $money on over priced homes to unqualified buyers and then trading paper packaged on Wallstreet is how Conservatives used deregulation from the Enron Loop Hole to acquire a quick return on real property paper instead of the usual time maturity return.

Republicans cannot even take the credit for carrying out a brilliant scam, it is if someone else (the media! and the liberals! and Clintons! my frendthzzz) have been running the country during the Bush years%u2026.
