nGiven his blog id we can assume that he must be a member of the Chicago fire department. So, we can see that questioning people in Chicago paying for positions might be hitting a little too close for him. He might not want this matter discussed to much or else he might not be able to make use of the money he has been saving to pay for his next promotion.

It would be hard to believe that Vick was all that secretive about what he was doing and even harder to believe that his team mates and the team management didn''''t know what was going on, but were content to keep quiet about it as long as they had a winner on the field.

So, to continue with your simile, given the same standards, it would be hard to believe that the Democratic party and his "team mates" like Burris, Obama, et al knew what was going on with Blago, but were content to keep quiet as long as the had a winner on the field.

Well, in that case it could be said the Sarah Palin knew her daughter was having encounters with her boyfriend but was content to keep quite as long as they had a winner in the family....

Why should the Govenor be a example of what Chicago politics is about and not the president-elect......or are you only interested in point to negatives to dismiss Chicago politics?

It like pointing to Micheal Vick and saying ''''now thats what Atlanta professional football players are all about''''.....

One could though, look at the team and wonder if they knew what was going on all along.

Resign in 2 years? Reasons?

Before they actually find out who he really is-
Before he is blamed by the media that he really isn''''t qualified?
Before Americans finally shuts down as a freedom nation?
Before Americans impeach him?

Maybe.

Defiant, indeed. A step shy from having guards take him away in a straight jacket. And this is an example of what Chicago politics is like?
