2 Timothy
Chapter 3: 1 - 5
But understand this: there will be terrifying times in the last days.
People will be self-centered and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious,
callous, implacable, slanderous, LICENTIOUS, brutal, hating what is good,
traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
as they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. Reject them.
--------------------
Licentious:
Adjec
tive - Formal disapproving - (especially of a person or their behaviour). Sexual in an uncontrolled and socially unacceptable way.

So you believe this refers to our time? You don''t think the same issues were around when this was written? I think these same issues have been around throughout history.

As far as a large section of the christian population are concerned you should be bound by there beliefs whether you share them or not. They know the truth.

A little learning is a dangerous thing. But worse is false learning. People with the least amount of education think they should rule civilized societies.

People voted for Obama primarily because of real-world issues such as the economy, health care, education, the environment and foreign policy. He is not going to be everyting we all want him to be. But he will be much better than a Republican.

The Bible is your religious document.
Here is one of your beliefs that is a criminal act every where in the world.
If a man commits adultery with another man''''s wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

Leviticus 20:10

Just to keep the record straight, I am not a Christian. Therefore I am not bound by Christian beliefs. Any more than you are bound by the beliefs of Buddhism.

Awwwwwwww......the Obama-bots are mad.....and surprised!

Well, you made your bed and now you have to lie in it......thats what you get for electing someone you know nothing about.....

Also, maybe NOW the Obama-bots are getting why we were so upset over Wright,Ayers, Rezko and Blago associations.....

Barack Obama has very poor sense of who he should hang around with...now the lefties get a little taste of what we were talking about.....

You are missing the point. The birth of Christ is the divine birth of God in a body. The old and new testaments were inspired by the same Deity. Immanuel means God with Us. That is the name of Jesus in the Old Testament. You can continue to have your opinion, but facts are facts. God loves all of us sinners, whatever sin(s) it may be, but we must turn to Him and He does the work of changing us. Merry Christmas

Belief in a deity is not a fact it is a "beleif". There is a big difference.

Anyone know what the koran says about homosexuality?? Anyone?? Some of you are great at Bible verses but I''''d love to hear what the koran has to say. After all, islam is the fastest growing religion in the world so, hey, how about spreading some of that anti-religion hate speech around. You libs are supposed to be all inclusive.

If you think homosexuality is a minor sin read Paul''''s writings in Romans and I Corinthians. While you''''re contemplating "minor sin" read Matthew 13-14.

Honestly, if you are basing your opinions on a book that was written 1700 and more years ago then you may as well go live with the Bedoins.

Leviticus is in the Old Testament. It was written before the Birth Of Christ. Jesus Christ never said one word about homosexuality. Not One Word.

Funny how no one is mentioning that your messiah is also against gay marriage. As a matter of fact, islam is against gay marriage. Why, AA christian churches are against gay marriage along with the majority of hispamics. So, can''t wonder why all YOUR hate and angst is projected towards one population that is against gay marriage.
And remember, YOUR MESSIAH has come out against gay marriage. Just because you people pick and chose does not mean the rest of us are leemings.
