We second your comment...dump the so called super committee. These are hand picked politicans, greedy and many who make their money from the lobbyist..I don't expect anything great to come out of this and I think these people will stall for time until elections...my suggestion...vote for non of the above..let's clean house come election day. If there isn't anyone worth voting for in an office, don't fill it. Leave it empty just like the politicans have left our bank accounts.
First, Wall Street investment bankers, and the FED (bankers), could NOT get away with the continual theft of billions of dollars UNLESS the govt regulators, politicians, and courts were allowing it to happen...for the acceptance of 'gratuities'!
And, with that kind of money, there's plenty to go around for all these thieves!
Second, this committee is a ruse! It's a stalling tactic, to allow the theft to go on until the 'back' of the economy is broken, and then it's too late (and unnecessary) to enforce regulation over the ultra-wealthy thieving that's going on!
Third, the arrogance of calling these idiots a super-committee is laughable! You can bet that the bottom 98 or 99% of the public will be called upon to make any fiscal sacrifices, if they come up with any cost savings at all!
Finally, the way govt is being mismanaged AND the economy trashed, leads me to believe that the people doing it believe, that they have some type of knowledge of future events, such as, allows them to think they can do this, and get away with it! That it doesn't matter! I hope, that is NOT the case!
At least they haven't resorted to the public bickering that we've seen between the Senate and the House yet. I think that in and of itself is a positive sign.
On the other hand, given how obstructionist the Republicans in Congress have been lately, I seriously doubt this committee will come up with anything that they can agree on.
I know how to start saving money and get the budget on the right track. You start by taking away Obama and the blank check he gives away to anyone or any thing, and the worst part of it is no one can say where all this money is. Does anyone want to take a guess? You stop him and we will rebuild our America, Obama is hell bent on destroying America and for those who cant see it is because they don't want to, its as simple as that.
We're ill about this position that we have been put in where it is the tax payers looking to bail out, but ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the healthcare reform that is needed to help shore up our economy, helping it's got to be all about job creation too, shoring up our economy, and putting it back on the right track, so healthcare reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans. And trade, we've got to see trade as opportunity, not as competitive scary thing, but one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today, we've got to look at that as more opportunity. All those things under the umbrella of job creation. The bailout is a part of that.
