The Obama administration has actually been the worst for the private sector working class in US history. Stagflation, falling wages, lost credit rating, massive deficits, terrible unemployment, billions in phony loans and payoffs to unions with taxpayer dollars we can't afford. I didn't think it was possible but this guy makes Jimmy Carter look good.
Congratulations people! BOA is endding its underwriting division so Credit Unions may no longer makle loans, that will show the USA.Who do you think did the whole sale transacting?HOPE you or your parents don't have loans through Credit Unions.Feds will have to take over or debit call will ensue, meaning pay balance in full. That should put an end to all that pesky CHANGE in your pocket!
A recession is when the rich and powerful dont get their way and they pull out their money to punish the rest of us for not voting for their choices and p[olicies. They have so much money and probably claim huge loses and so it all taxes out for them in the end. But for the economy and Americans it means misery.
Thanks for rubbing it in. I bet your job was never off-shored. You must be a CEO or one of his cronies. Our troups in Iraq & Afganistan are fighting for democracy. Unfortunately, there's no such thing in this country. We have the choice of a voting for a Rich GOP or a Rich Democrat. Wow!
One_American____ October 6, 2011 2:00 PM EDT You know why the jobs went overseas?
1. Punative Government regulation (EPA) 2. Punative tax structure 3. Punative entitlement costs 4. Punative insurance costs 5. Unions demanding too much
And you know what is so great about all these?
THEY ARE THE RESULT OF LEFTIST GOVERNMENT POLICIES.
So the real question is - in this kind of business environment created by Democrats - WHAT BUSINESS CEO WOULD BE STUPID ENOUGH TO STAY IN AMERICA?
THINK ABOUT THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM, NOT JUST THE SYMPTOMS.
This is a misdirection play by the left. It's a "look over here - it's Wall Street's fault - It's the bankers' fault." Most people with more than half a brain know it's THE GOVERNMENT'S FAULT - and we are going to get rid of the problem in 2012. Buh-bye, zero administration.
Is Biden drunk again? So now he feels empathy with these clueless little socialists when his boss Obama helped bail Wall St, the banks and auto industry with the middle classes tax dollars and even gave Solyndra who was about to go bankrupt $535 million from the failed stimulus package for the hundreds of thousand dollars in 2008 campaign contributions to get him elected.
Joe should know about the middle class being screwed since it was his boss and the Dems doing the screwing.
Does anyone of sound mind believe Obama and the liars in his adminstration except for the leftwingnuts who voted for him?

Hello USA, speaking of wing nuts. Have you had those bolts that keep you from misplacing your head tightened recently? Likely a good idea. Just and observation but you seem to be completely out of touch with reality again. I thought you might have a short circuit or something?
The Wall Street bail out was engineered by the Fed and George W was still in office. As far as Solyndra. What a waste of time for you folks because it shows at least the President has an interest in trying to create jobs. Do you want to match that against the accomplishments of your guys in the House? More importantly in business there are some days you eat the bear and some days the bear eats you. No start-up is guaranteed.
The last question could be best answered by asking you - if you were in a room with Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and President Obama and they each were asked the same question who would you believe?
It's the American federal government that has run amok. Blame the federal government for new bank fees. Because they pass laws to reduce bank income, banks are going to find other ways to recover that income.
So you mean to say the billions they make in profits aren't enough? To say nothing of the outrageous salaries and bonuses the top management gets. Wow.
Texas
Companies are in business to make profits. Got it. I would like to know exactly how it makes sense that the CEOs and other C-Levels get millions of dollars in salaries, bonuses, and severances when their policies are laying off thousands of workers. I am as conservative as anyone else, but it does not make good business sense to export jobs and expect to maintain a customer base in the location you just laid off x percent of the workforce. That same lack of logic applies when the company has to ask for a GOV handout while the CEO gets a bonus.
To put it simply "entitlements" are the problem - not just at the low end of the socio-economic spectrum but equally and possibly more so at the very high end of that spectrum.

so as another person that works for a fortune 500 company and I also do a lot of hiring, I wouldn't hire anyone of these people at this point considering most of them are lemmings and don't know why they're there. They lack vision for themselves and expect the Gov't to take care of them, jobs, education etc. Those are the kind of people who would erode a company expecting entitlements. They beleive the crap that their professors are teaching them and come into the working world with false expectations and when those expectations aren't met, they are dissillusioned. You end up with "occupy wall street". Yes, I agree there are changes that need to be made within our financial system, but blaming people that have money isn't the answer. Taking what belongs to them isn't the answer. Make these protestors rich and turn the tables and they will be the first to cry foul! Greed works in many different ways. Just because someone has wealth doesn't make them greedy. These protestors, the Obama administration want other peoples wealth, they base their policies and livelihood around taking other peoples' wealth..sounds like greed
I am vehemently against welfare - We should have workfare. With that being said, I would submit that what they are most upset about is the fact that they have do not perceive that they have any opportunity to succeed. You have an excellent point that "just because someone has wealth does not make them greedy" but on the other hand please consider several of the headlines we see which mention this many jobs exported, this CEO is fired yet gets millions in severage, this company is laying off XXX employees while the CEO is making millions. Coupled with the fact that if you call for customer service half of the time you get an individual that is located somewhere outside of the US.
The problem is that the system has been screwed up over such a long period of time (my guess is around the time that the Chinese got "most favored" status) by both parties that now it is nearly impossible to figure out how to fix the whole underlying problem and not just the symptoms.
Ex-President Clinton, who had a balanced deficit, said that Obama is doing the right things and that it takes 5 years for a recession, like we had when Obama took office, to get better. Obama has only been in office. If a republican is elected all of us except for the ltra-rich corporate interests that control the puppet strings of the republican party, like john boehner, will suffer tremendously because the republican party is only out for the good of the hand that feeds them which is the ultra-rich corporate interests that pay them.
We can't survive 4 more years of Obama. The recession isn't the only problem, he needs to deal with illegal immigrant's bleeding us dry, TSA taking away our rights, Gas prices, the Obama Care Joke, finish building the fence on the border of Mexico, and prevent any further illegal's/and terrorist's from entering the US, and deal with the drug runners that have taken over parts of AZ. Pretty much everything he thinks isn't a problem and refuses to deal with. His policys are what is P 1 $ $ 1 N G off the americam people.
Actually if you bothered to research you opinion before regurgitating Clinton's rubbish, you would know that Bush"inherited a recession from Clinton and had 911 to contend with. However he didn't go around pointing fingers and blaming others. He got the economy going to the point where the all time record for Federal tax receipts was 2006. Then the Dems took over Congress and everything went into the toilet.
Bank of America needs to be left to die after the impending of the banking collapse soon to be brought on by Europe's devasting debt crisis. No bailouts for BoA, let them collapse when the ultimate economic clamity occurs in the next year.
