Sadly, We all know republicans are not conservative enough and want to be the moral police, which is why were in this mess right now. Liberals don't understand monetary policy(kinda hypocritical because republicans are the ones who destroyed our monetary system but liberals take advantage of it more i.e 80 trillion in welfare obligations) they don't understand the purpose or the many benefits of having competition between governments as well as businesses and above all neither one of the parties, if they even read it, understand the constitution something we all need to praise a lot more. I'm a libertarian and I believe that they are the only truly compassionate ones, but still there flaw is that they have no appeal to the masses since they don't offer welfare or special privileges.
I really don't give a damn what people chose as long as its not forced warfare, forced welfare, printing\devaluing our money, limiting our rights, or interfering with the lawful parts of the free market, wait what? that's all people have been choosing for close to a century now? Why I thought we chose liberty over socialism and tyrants along time ago. Money and lies about liberty, people.... Money and lies....

Dear protesters:

The past decade has really depressed me to the point where I had little hope for our future. This movement has shaken me to the bone. I am proud of our youth for organizing this. Stay as long as necessary, you have already started to alter the conversation in America.

Keep up the good fight. Stay safe. I will look into getting involved.

Why don't the protestors put out a unified list of demands/expectations so people know what it is they want and expect? Only then can others choose to agree with them. They can't expect others to join them if they have no idea what they stand for.

These guys represent those oppressed by the 2% who control the wealth of this country and the powerful minority of the world. These are struggling individuals around the USA and the world, educated, who have experienced the oppression. Someone has to cry out forcefully against the abuse of corporate greed who sits on trillions of dollars while people suffer unemployment. It is a cry against those elected government buffoons who got elected largely with the money of that 2% with the duty of protecting their interests while the majority of the population have to pay for their well being. This movement will grow, just wait. Today we mourn the death of an American icon, a creative individual, Steve Jobs. A guy (well he could afford it) took the CEO job of the company he created, and later fired him, for $1.00 and took it to becoming the 2nd largest USA Corporation. Did he exported his co. jobs elsewhere? No.

The civil rights movement, the war in Vietnam and other rights we now enjoy, was throughout the efforts of those who protested against inequalities. Just yesterday a group of marines and ex combat soldiers would join the protest. Stop being brainwashed, try thinking out of your white and black box, because America needs a resurgence and a congress with a 16% approval rate needs replacing.

You are an ignorant POS. I have worked for a living all of my life, I worked two jobs when I had to, instead of looking for a hand-out (Food Stamps). I am a military veteran, and I went to college with my VA Benefits. I pay my taxes, my house is paid for, and I got my tubes tied because I didn't want kids, and I've managed to stay out of jail. How dare you even suggest that I am clueless because I choose not to align myself with conservative bung-holes like yourself. I'd love to slap the SH** out of you - you are no better than the greedy *b*a*s*t*a*r*d*s* who want to treat me like a commodity instead of a human being.

Go crawl back under your rock and **F**K** yourself.

Here's a lesson for the Occupy wall street crowd who mindlessly rail at capitalism in favor of socialism. Steve Jobs didn't start companies without capital infusion, he needed people to invest in his ideas, Steve Jobs didn't set out to sell his ideas and his products because he didn't want to be successful. Steve Jobs had failures along the way to his great successes, he never whined or cried about how unfair it was that he threw in his own money and lost some of it. Steve Jobs worked tirelessly to attain his success and fulfill his dreams and desires. He didn't whine about making a student loan payment, or a paying a mortgage. If he needed more he worked harder and smarter. No one handed Steve Jobs his success, he attained it on his own. Steve Jobs didn't look around and complain about fairness, he didn't ask for his fair share of anything. As I watch these mindless socialist left wing freaks on the television and read their statements in the news I'm amazed by the hypocrisy. These folks talk on their Iphones, buy their music from Itunes, and spread the word about their silly anti-capitalist rants through their MAC books. If you want to be seriously taken in your ill defined, wrong headed cause then throw all your mobile phones, laptops, TV sets, and Ipads away because they were all created by people who invented them with capital from investors and investment groups. Life is not fair, you make your own way in this world and when you fall you pick yourself up and try again. This is what it means to be an American citizen. The opportunity is always there for you. You need to go out and grab it, not whine about how hard it might be.

And who paid for Mr. Job's roads to work? His worker's educations? The police who protect his neighborhoods? The armies defending our borders? Who paid for the infrastructure that allowed him to safely go on and do brilliant things?

Imagine if he had tried to do all that in a truly dysfunctional country like Liberia and realize that America is a great country because of our people and that we MUST invest public capital to keep this country running.

lg144 - many Republicans ARE struggling Americans. This whole partisanship is a trap. Divide and conquer. We need to focus on our commonalities, not our differences. Bought politicians and the Fed are commonalities.
