Congress does not live in the real world. I would have them all making minimum wage and living in public housing, so they can see what it takes to get by for 100 million Americans on low and fixed incomes.

Things are starting to heat up in this economic uncertain age...Shouldn't the rich pay a fair proportionate share? Can Obama be trusted to spend that money wisely if they do pay more? These are both interesting points, what do you think? Bring your opinions to an open discussion platform on the topic: http://******/nJzIOL

Class warfare! That's a laugh. How stupid does the GOP think we are? To make the rich pay a tax rate equal to the middle class rate is class warfare? I guess we know which class the GOP supports.

PaulinMN says:
Paul Ryan's complaint that the proposal to return tax rates to those enjoyed by the USA in the 1990s is "class warfare" is completely laughable.

First, these rates are not excessive, and as someone who has had to pay high marginal rates, I have no issue with a completely reasonable and fair increase, like the one President Obama is proposing.

Second, the Ryan plan WAS exactly Class Warfare - warfare against everyone except huge multi-national corporations, and the very wealthy.

Therefore, Ryan's words are uniquely hypocritical, because HIS proposals were indeed "Class Warfare" while Obama's are not.

It seems Ryan learned the lessons of Joseph Stalin and the Soviets very, very well - that lesson is - repeat a lie, often and loudly, keep repeating it, and some people, the media INCLUDED, will start to believe it.

Shame, Shame, Shame on the Liar, Paul Ryan.

Class Warfare? The ever widening gap between rich and poor. The constant double digit wage increases for executives; while workers salaries decrease. The elimination of health care for workers; while executive benefits grow exponentially.

As far as I can tell, the rich have already won the war. Now they are just throwing the final shovels of dirt on the grave of the middle class.

The President is in campaign mode! What a surprise, since the Republicans have been sniping at him, obstructing him and promising how they plan to make him a one term President for the past year! In addition, why would Rep. Ryan and for that matter CBS news think very many people would actually be interested in any lies that might spew out of the said congressman's mouth?

Class warefare is right!

And Obama far from waging it is trying to defend against the GOP onslaught on the middle and lower classes by proposing tax cuts that would put more money in the hands of working Americans -- yet his proposals are opposed the very same GOP that is vigorously fight tax cuts for the rich!

Remember when the next election comes GOP = Greed Over Principle!

The only thing about class war fare is those filthy rich white racists who will be using fear and intimidation tactics to demoralize this campaign to boost unemployment and create jobs. They are domestic terrorists trying to stop the growth to bolster their own cause of terrorism by holding this country hostage to buy and corrupt the government as they have done before. Divide and conquer is the real message that they (GOP) are using to demoralize the movement. They (GOP & Tea-Party) created the class war fare long before anyone even thought of the word. They will use Fear and intimidation to lie, cheat and steal whatever votes and immoral opinions they have to stop the DEMS. from gaining momentum. Millionaires paying less than the working class in taxes. It is Taxation without representation by taxing the poor and middle class so the rich can pay their corrupt ways into the political arena. Wake up America you're being screwed and tattooed by these so called GOP & Tea-Partiers who are hypocritical Terrorists bent on corrupting the government. Stop the movement by sign petitions to impeach these imposters and vote them out of office and send them a message en mass that WE true Patriotic Americans despise hypocrisy! Not in our America! Don't buy their Crap & nonsense and lies that change the demographics of this great nation. Stop them in their tracks! Vote out the radical Domestic Terrorists from taking over our country. Stand up and fight by marching and voting for change we can believe in. Now is not the time to retreat and surrender! Now is the time to take a stand and vote out this radical domestic terrorist movement. Like our forefathers have done who have gone this way before.
