I'll admit the crop of Rep candidates sucks, but not enough to make me vote for Bam Bam. Since the Repub Party has basically left me and the rest of the center right Americans. I think the only solution is to join the Dem Party and change it from within. That way the Dems can be more center right and actually represent the majority of Americans, the Tea Party can have the extreme right and the Progressives the extreme left. The Dems will be able to RULE since the extreme elements will be gone and everyone will be happy.

Obama is a lawyer and an academic - two professions that believe words are a substitute for actions. Like many of our politicians, when there is a crisis he gives a speech, but then, giving speeches and spending our money is ALL that he knows how to do!

I spoke to a Dem friend of mine shortly after the speech and it was really frightening. First he basically spouted back to me the typical Dem lines that you read on these comment pages daily. Honestly, don't Dems have any original ideas? After that he went into a tirade about how Reps have screwed up the Govt so much that if the Dems can regain control, it will be over for them and the Dems will rule forever after. RULE? That is the scary part. I think Dems are actually looking for a dictatorship. It is all us vs them in his mind, them being anyone who is not a Democrat and we can just all go to he ll.

Hey Obama there is 307.007 Million people in the US currently, instead of your offer to take our hard earned tax money away from the the social security and schools and other organizations
that need that money desperately with your latest "how to fix the economic job market" aka lets line all the politicians pockets again, lets save some! Just give every American a Million and you'll reduce the national debt. people will spend the money to pay their mortgage's and other bills so the money will go back into America where it's truly needed and will cost much less than your $300 billion dollar cure. Did you forget how badly your last "fix the economy" yet nobody even knows where that money even went plan worked? Do the math! This is just rude abuse to the American taxpayers!

A well thought-out e-mail to The Honorable, John Boehner, Speaker of the House, will make a marked difference, folks.
http://www.speaker.gov/Contact/
Tell him to renounce Obama's "American Jobs Act" in it's entirety. Describe it as "a redundancy of the Democrat Party's fallible $800 plus billion "stimulus" act of 2009".
Be nice in your note and he will listen
....I don't worry about the libs writings as I know he will "86" those!

He could call it "Die Fed Govt...DIE!!!" and the GOP STILL wouldn't give it the time of day!!!!

The first one worked, although the GOP didn't feel it covered up their massive screw-up adequately enough. Republicans nuked the economy and are resisting every effort to fix it. Who needs terrorists with friends like these?

Mr Obama says: "The people of this country work hard to meet their responsibilities." HA! SOME of the people work hard to meet their responsibilities, but other's (many others) have their hand out and do NOTHING, but expect to be "taken care of". Some need assistance, but others are simply takers-and have been "taking" so long, they know, no other way. And still others are here illegally and get all the perks for doing nothing. Mr Obama and this congress have burned through more money than 5 presidents- and accomplished little, to nothing. It's time to say "NO". You and I live within our means, when is Congress going to do the same thing?
