I doubt that Congress is going to back this plan at all. It is NOTHING but stimulus waste and useless postponement of the inevitable.

Congress is to busy fighting each others ideology to pay attention to the U.S.A. We as Americans could make a statement to these idiots and throw out every single incumbent. Now that would be something. Obama is wasting his breath on this worthless Congress. VOTE EM OUT! ALL OF THEM!

I agree. Vote them all out. Check out the website GOOOH.com. We would like to remove all of the House of Representatives in 2012. Until we have jobs in American nothing will get better. No more Trade Agreements.

Our President has shamelessly used this latest jobs proposal as a reelection campaign event. He has submitted no formal proposal to Congress, but has instead used the issue to attack his political opposition and garner media attention with corny theatrics . The fundamental truth is that this President is deeply predisposed against private business. His lifelong ideology is one of anti-capitalism, pandering to big labor, and promoting a government controlled economy. He is a nightmare for businesses. Plainly the private sector economy will not improve significantly while this President is in office.

Here we go again with this sense of urgency ploy. Why is it that virtually every BAD bill this president wants to sign is an emergency? "...stop the political circus" he says. He should have said, "Dammit, if you don't want to play MY way, go home and let me do what I want." His stimulus package failed because he gave the money to the banks, GM who is now moving out of the country thank you very much, and to others in order to insure that the CEO's and other upper management types can continue to live in the manner to which they are accustomed. In the meantime WE THE PEOPLE (remember us?) are asked to make sacrifices. What sacrifices are our politicians and their phantom bosses making? None. Zero. Zip. That's the way it is in our country, we work our butts off and they continue to eat lobster and drink fine wines.

Just wait until next Jan when the small business owners lay off 1 in 8 to pay for the new health care costs. The watch as 1 in 5 start losing more houses because they have been barely squeaking by, and now although healthy will have to pay a couple hundred a month for health care they don't want.

The only steps he can do at this point, are to remove all the spending done in his 1st 2 years in office, including the "stimulous" Trillion for his "green" jobs political donators and Banking industry political donators.
