do you even realize what you are doing to people who live from month to month on their disability checks you are putting them out in the street the president needs to bow out of office and let some one in that knows what they are doing instead of hurting the american people the senoirs dont deserve this who does he think he is if he thinks this is going to help the people he is wrong it will make it worse
this is totally unacceptable about people might not get there Social Security Disability. there are people that that is all they have to live on people have bills to pay not to mention they are probably on medications that are very expensive. they would not be able to pay for. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
In addition Mr. Obama all people including yourself as a result of insider information who made millions, Senators, House Members, and Yourself be required to place this money in the National Treasury as it is illegal gains and therefore subject to confiscation. Mr. Obama Look up Social Security Law and make sure that no person who hasn't contributed to The Social Security Trust Fund will Never Draw Benefits ! The Federal Government be required by the Supreme Court to Repay any and all monies ever borrowed from the Trust Fund be repaid at a rate of twenty percent every year plus interest at seven percent per annum until all these funds have been repaid in full ! That this fund can and had been solvent until prior to being raided by this country, plus people who had never contributed were allowed to draw from the fund which must stop ! If you are such a forward thinking gutsy man do what is required by law !
I already have a hard enough time living on SSDI the way it is, especially without the cost of living increase for the last two years. I'd like to see him live on what is given per month on social security. Before he makes us a nation and home of the homeless, he should walk in our shoes to see how they fit. I worked up to 4 jobs at a time and ruined my body...but I paid in to social security.
I think that if he wants to make cuts to it, he should do something along the lines of the following: if you were born in this country to U.S. born parents and you're disabled; if you paid into social security a certain amount if you're an immigrant, or if you're U.S. born and you became disabled after working...blah blah blah, then you should be able to get social security. No wonder the program is going broke, when there's a lot of people coming to this country, just to get it and be supported.
I've been working since I was 15 years old and paying in. I never expected to get sick or become disabled, but I did. I paid my due's...but just to move to another country and have them support you I think is wrong. I would never move to another country just to get their government to support me financially....what ever happened to a person having integrity? Does anyone even know the meaning of the word anymore? without looking it up in the dictionary?

well if SSI is cut a lot of people who receiving it will likely end up on the street with others or starve to death because they can't afford food.Most people receiving that already can barely survive.Medicare and supplimental insurance and drugs for most people runs from $200.00 to $400.00 monthly on top of other bills that must be paid,House payments utilities ,transportation costs and food.Thatleaves little or no funds if you need to by clothing or other things.It is almost like genocide for those who are on these programs and SSI.If they decrease the amounts received little by little legitimate retirees,the truly handicapped, and the seniors 65 and older will pass on quicker.No more money problems for the rich,the politicians,And the big business mongers.
Here is one HUGE area to cut waste in government, but it will NEVER happen without eviscerating the GOP. In proportion to its population, economy, and land mass, the U.S. has one of the smallest governments in the world-ergo, it's pretty efficient. Could more waste be eliminated? Absolutely. Get the private sector and private business out of the government. You want to see wasted tax dollars? How about millions and millions in "grant" money given to private corporations to conduct the public's business. Think they're efficient? Think again. Look at it this way, I give you a million dollars to solve a government problem and you get to hire whoever you want to do the work-you get to keep the rest of the money-and not give the surplus back. Are you starting to get the picture here? Of course, you will hire the cheapest labor possible, do the least amount of work to get by, and pocket the change. Plus, there will be no accountability for any waste and mismanagement directly to the voters and taxpayers because you are a PRIVATE company. The only ones you answer to are congressional leaders. And we all know how well that works out, don't we. So, one huge area to cut waste is getting private business out of government business. Bush II greatly expanded this problem with HUGE GIVEAWAYS of public money to private companies. You don't have to believe me, just look at the glossy high rise buildingsof private companies doing the government's work that used to be done by federal employees that line the Washington D.C. beltway. Look at the offices in Crystal City. The private side of government is probably bigger than the government and is run by GOP corporate financiers. Are you getting the picture yet? The argument of smaller government is spurious and a lie fed to the lower 40% of the population.

You call Obama the enemy of America,but I heard a lot of opinion in your post that is borderline Tea Party.Contrarily,there is enough evidence now that George W.ignored verbal testimony from the head of inspectors for the U.N.atomic energy agency in Iraq,that Iraq had no W.M.D.,but they did have some chemical weapons that were never widely used,but it was used to justify a war that killed hundreds and thousands of Iraqis ,thousands of young Americans and left Iraq and the U.S. in economic shambles.What did Obama do,beside try to fix the previous administrations destruction and then be blamed for it.The whole previous administration should be put on trial,because Iran and N.Korea have nuclear weapons.Makes as much sense as wanting to impeach Obama.
