- Gingrich came right out of the gate sounding fair minded and reasonable. What a loon! Now EVERYBODY from both sides will use him as a punching bag, just like they have used Obama. Donald Trump was much smarter, playing up to the most passionate faction, getting a megaton of free PR, and then dropping them like a bad habit. Why is it that the smartest ones know not to ruin their lives by trying to be President?

- Don't worry Newt, you've got my vote. I love his straightforward manner and his solid ideas. So many are just tearing one another down, Newt actually has ideas that make sense. As for the debt? How many of us are in the same boat? Who didn't take a little too much advantage of the easiness of getting into debt only to realize that it is not too easy to pay it back? That is a real American. I can relate to that. Don't worry Newt, the Obama Media is just trying to scare you off. They are afraid of you.

- The attacks on his conciliatory, middle-of-the-road tone almost made me feel sorry for him; but then I got to the part about the $250-500K Tiffany's expenditure.

- I agree. His comments are the most intelligent ones from any Republican recently. However, if I remember right, he was a part of the "its the Republican way or your UnAmerican" BS that has been the mantra of Republicans for far too long.

- I think if he really wants to be a conservative Republican president, he's got to stop being a big jerk to his Republican party and should be nice to them in order to get his chance to beat President Obama in 2012. That is my opinion.

- Now, is there any doubt left that the Newt is a die hard republican??? Another Palin in drag talking one thing and doing the other behind our backs. Gingrich/Palin, Nixon/Agnew reincarnate? Sure smells that way and after Bush/Cheaney is there any doubt left in the intelligent world who destroyed the American dream??????

- Why do you only include Republicans in your list of double talkers? Obama talks out of both sides of his mouth he doesn't remember what he's saying anymore. Those who think that only the Republicans are the problem, or only the Democrats are the problem YOU are actually part of the problem cause they both stink equally and until they start working together WE are the ones stuck in the middle.
