IT DOESN'T matter where he was born, his mother was a citizen, that makes him a natural born citizen, no matter where he was born. If you recall, McCain's parents were in the Panama Canal Zone when he was born. IT DOESN'T MATTER, because the children of citizens are NATURAL BORN CITIZENS no matter where they are born! Do people think that if they are expecting, they have to stay in the U.S. so their kids can run for president? IT DOESN'T MATTER!! And it's disappointing to hear the issue on the news and to hear no-one from the news organization say, "Oh by the way it doesn't matter where he was born anyway, because his mother was a citizen, so he's a natural born citizen no matter where he was born." So, the news agencies have let this thing go on by not debunking the bunk, what would Walter Cronkite have done? Would he have told us the way it is, or just repeated the idiocy of others?
Why is Schieffer writing about this? The media has known for years that Obama was born in the US. Or does the media doubt the information in two Hawaiian newspapers that are also standard media outlets. Why haven't the media been knocking down the "birthers" charges whenever they appeared? Of course, it is always more profitable to keep the controversy going, no matter how idiotic it may be.

I was happy today that the certificate was finally released. Then someone posted that the hospital named on the certificate did not have that name when Obama was born. So I checked and they were right. There was also no birth weight or doctors name. Three strikes. I now do think this is fake because Trump really was making this an issue. If not why did Obama not produce this rather than letting Terry Lakin go to jail. I guess he doesn't mind if a decorated serviceman rots in jail as long as it doesn't affect him. Can't wait to vote him out in 2012.
