Donald Trump is nothing more than an egomaniac.... a narcissistic bag of wind who will say and do anything to get attention. He's using this platform to tell us how "great and wonderful" he is to feed his ego. In reality, he's like an arrogant, ignorant, childish school yard bully who thinks his money gives him the right to kick sand in anyone's face. It's a shame money cannot buy intelligence, dignity, class, and the ability or inclination to tell the truth.
The bottom line in all this Trump/birther nonsense is simply their unbridled hatred for the President. They all want to erase him from history. They refuse to accept his legitimacy as a citizen of the United States, his legitimacy as our President, or even as human being.
All this garbage demonstrates just how desperate the GOP has become overall. They KNOW that not ONE of their potential candidates can defeat President Obama, so they will try to have him removed from office by any means, at any cost.

I imagine back when Obama got accepted to these ivy league colleges that the acceptance levels would have been different from what they are currently now. and so what if his grades weren't super amazzzzinnggg ... wouldn't that make him more representative of the population of the USA? don't you want a president that knows what it's like to be a real person and can deal with policies accordingly, and not be a person of means who has got where they are because of daddy's $$$ funds, or because they're well connected, or whatever.

Maybe we should fire all of the smart people in government, so they can go out and look for real jobs (the jobs that are returning in this strengthening economy) and employ all of those on welfare in government positions, so that they are no longer on welfare and can contribute to society.

If you google "What makes you a U.S. citizen" you will see the law says, "if at least one of your parents was a legal U.S. citizen, any child born to that citizen is automatically a U.S. citizen no matter where the child was born!" His mother was a legal U.S. being born in Kansas. She was studying in Hawaii (where her parents had moved to from Kansas) when she met Barack Obama Sr, who was from Kenya, and studying in Hawaii on a student visa. She got pregnant, he married her and they had Barack is Hawaii in 1961 as stated by the Hawaiian governor and the birth records of the local paper! Barack Sr. eventually went back to Kenya and his parents eventually divorced. But the fact remains that she was a legal U.S. citizen, born and raised here, so, even if the newspapers and his birth certificate have the place of birth wrong, President Obama definitely was born a U.S. citizen because at least one of his parents was! Even if he was born in Kenya. His Mom might have been there visiting her husband's relatives but she didn't give up her U.S. citizenship! She remarried when Barack was young and lived in Indonesia for a few years but she came back to Hawaii when that marriage went sour. That was the only time Barack Obama was Muslim by the way. His step-father probably insisted the whole family be Muslim when Barack's Mom was married to the guy. Being a naturalized U.S. citizen qualifies you to vote or run for public office, including the Presidency!
