If you don't increase the debt limit, you have two choices: cut spending or raise taxes. Americans have indicated in many polls that they do not want to cut spending in any area that would make a difference in the bottom line such as Social Security and Medicare. Many citizens are also opposed to tax increases but they want taxes raised on the rich and big business. So if you don't want spending cuts and you don't want taxes increaed, please pray tell me how you can do this without raisng the debt ceiling? It sounds like a classic case of wanting your cake and eating it too. Perhaps if the wording of the poll was changed you might get more thoughtful results.
Most American oppose Obama traveling around campaign instead of rolling up his sleeve to address and solve the nations problems. He is starting his seventh years of campaign since he started in 2008. It is time he be evaluated and put on disciplinary probation for incompetence!
Where is the senate and congress, they think they're still in college and get an easter break. Time for them to get to work, how many working Americans get a week off at easter?
