I suppose if the majority of Americans didn't agree with Mr. Barbour then the Republicans wouldn't have gained so many seats in congress. Oops.....I guess most Americans DO agree with Mr. Barbour.

The Repugs spread lies about "death panels", "a communist takeover", and similar drivel. Not to mention that the guy in the White House isn't, well, white. Make people scared enough and after a while they'll agree with the scarers.

A lot of those are Tea baggers that are angry with the GOP about the deficits. I guess they don't even agree with you.

Unfortunately for the American people, some people thought President Obama was on the ballot and they came out in droves thinking they were voting him out of office. They succumbed to the non stop fear, scare, smear, be afraid, be very afraid rhetoric Republicans spent two years cultivating. Other Americans, I'm sorry to say were just to complacent and they are seeing first hand what happens when you don't exercise your right to vote.

George Bush had to physically confront the crazy bullies in the middle east. Invading Iraq was necessary because Saddam was playing cat and mouse with the UN nuclear inspectors.

Clinton had a balanced budget because the Republicans took the budget reins away from him in the 1994 election and also because he allowed our military to deteriorate.

Why didn't the Republicans balance the budget in 2003-2007 when they ran Congress and the White House? I guess you can lie to yourself, make things up and live in your own little world. Why not, most other Republicans do.

Federal roadway have nothing to do with state-mandated auto insurance, No_Absolute. Please educate yourself.

_________

Actually Slappy, its you who has to have his a$$ schooled yet again. The federal government can and will withhold federal funding for state highway programs if the states don't mandate insurance, just as they withhold if the stats don't set 21 as the drinking age. I love, love, love the fact that every time u open your mouth i get to plut u in your place.

America is like Egypt. No to Tea Party GOP Republican Dictatorship and Cult like mentality like Barbaur. Who is he even referring to, this caucaus group? Of course they agree with each other but just saying it doesn't make it so in America. He is drinking some funny water in Mississippi to make such an arrogant statement. No thanks to Timothy McVeigh wannabes like Barbaur taking collateral damage whereever he can to minimize damage and control Americans who aren't conservative. What he is really saying is that he wants to control all others who are different than he and they are. He wants to limit freedom to those who are different then he thinks he is. So, no thanks to this Master Plantation owner of Mississippi citizens.

And just so there's no confusion the renowned Southern historian C. Vann Woodward would write, "one of the strangest things about the career of Jim Crow was that the system was born in the North and reached an advanced age before moving South in force." If the results of the last election mean anything at all, it looks like there are a lot of people rushing headlong to get back to those wonderful days.

There is absolute reason as to why the Supreme Court has defended "Abortion Rights" and why the Bush administration made concession with such, Mr. Barbour.
When you come to understand the reasoning, you may be ready to be a President of this country regardless of party affiliation.

As to the other issues you have spoken about, you couldn't be more correct.

Bloviating against Obama is NOT a platform. Seen nothing from this group of jackals that indicate they have any position other than Obama is weak and government needs to be smaller. Not only are they morally bankrupt, but their lack of vision shows them to be politically bankrupt as well.

I hear the dinosaurs are meeting this weekend, while the rest of the world is moving forward in solid, progressive steps. No mention of Egypt? I wonder why, but I'm not surprised. Dinosaurs never saw reality coming or going.
