Jobs:

- Stop job-killing tax hikes

- Allow small businesses to take a tax deduction equal to 20 percent of their income

- Require congressional approval for any new federal regulation that would add to the deficit

- Repeal small business mandates in the new health care law.

-----
Really? That's their grand plan to create jobs? There is not one thing that will create a single job.

There is no evidence to suggest a 3% tax increase on TAXABLE income over $250k will cause small business not to higher people.

And there are already small business safegaurds in the new health INSURANCE law.

Man, they don't even require small businesses to hire people before giving them the 20%...yet they oppose obama plan to allow businesses to deduct 100% of the captial investiments.

Do you own a small business or any business? Rhetorical I know you don't. Government Regulations and taxation on business costs us money. Now we do have choices on how we recoup that money, we can lay people off, we can cut back on production, or we can raise costs to consumers. So what is your choice? You want me to give the government my hard earned money because you feel that the government can spend it wiser then I can? Please liberals either start businesses or go to an economics class before you speak about things you know very little about.

Gunsin, I own a small busines so I will explain what this legislation will do to create jobs.
We have five people in our shop and wanted to expand last year creating at least three new jobs. We had good credit, paid our bills and are still, even through The Great Recession, growing!!
We applied to five different banks to get the best rate. We got turned down five times and here's why.
Government over spending (by one a half TRILLION dollars twice in the last two years) has seriously depleted the amount of funds available to lend to businesses like mine.
Additional government regulations require the banks to carry a larger backup reserve AND Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac subprime loans killed the banks both on commerical and home real estate loans.
In short, banks didn't have the money to loan and certainly not to a small business.
In short, as our last great American President, Ronald Reagan so eloquenty stated: "Government is not the solution. Government is the problem."
This is the worst, most arrogant, destructive, self-centered Congress I've ever experienced in my 62 years on this earth. They've given a whole new meaning to a "beans and bacon" diet 17,000,000 Americans out of work and another 40,000,000 living in poverty.
This isn't "the Party of the little guy." This is the party of the billionaire "speculators" like George Soros and the public workers unions and to heck with what real working stiffs like you and me think.

This idea of "tax killing" hikes is so dumb I can't believe we are stupid enough to swallow it. Those "breaks for the rich" were supposed to create jobs...it has been ten years now...where are those jobs those tax breaks created? In China, Mexico, India...anywhere but in America.

Want to know what I think is going on?

How about simply not allowing bill amendments that are not directly related to the true subject of the bill being amended?!

ENOUGH! I'm tired of these 'charade' pledges that conveniently AREN'T followed, are altered, or forgotten after it's supporters are elected
to office!

The time is NOW! The time to get things done, is NOW!
Do not just say 'NO' to every measure or bill under discussion!

Such pledges, offered by members of a party who refuse to work on a daily basis, are no more than gimmicks designed to 'hoodwink' the public!

Would you say yes? Would Liberals say yes to Republicans in charge that were trying to drive through the most radical righwing agenda they had ever seen? No... Bi-partisanship takes leadership and sorry to say it but Obama is a **** poor leader, he might be a good professor, I personally believe he is a good man but the country needs a leader and he like Carter before him are not good leaders. Bring in General Patreus.
