The American Indians owned this land and wonder could they have done a better job if they had known others were to rob them. With all due respect Barb, The indians never owned this land, neither does anyone else.The whole earth belongs to its creator, it's on loan to us to use for living. So far we've been destructive and unruly tenants.

Having said that I was raised in foster homes and the persons who whould know where the family line came from are dead..If they knew they took it to their deaths..I did not grow up with family..It is true the American Indians do hate us and they have their reasons..
I don't understand the temptation. Abortion is the death penalty for accidental trespassing. I wouldn't shoot someone for accidentally crossing onto my property, and I would not have a fetus sucked into a sink for the same "crime".

Things could be said about Christians like how they took this country from the Indians and slaughtered them, enslaved the blacks, how priests had sex with young children. How we invaded a country with false intelligence and a lot of innocent people are dead, etc. There is good and bad in all religions. The difference between liberals and conservatives is liberals accept all people, Christians, Muslims, Judaism, Buddhism, all religious and non-religious people, poor, rich, people who made mistakes, people who haven't, white, black, brown, yellow, all races, gays and lesbians, and anyone else who wants to join us.
