The carelessness of the socialist experiment in the United States is starting to starve people out on the whole surface of the glob. American farms will no doubt feel the brunt of decreased imports and increased efforts on domestic agriculture in Cuba. The domino effect by Barack Obama.

Our own American government, whether a Republican or Democratic administration, has tried to strangle Cuba's economy for almost 50 years now. It is not too surprising that they are having trouble in a worldwide economic downturn.

And yes, their government really does try to help their ordinary citizens get by, as long as those citizens do not challenge the party line or criticize government policies.

Probably the best thing would be to make overtures to increase trade with the US and open their borders. That might even stimulate OUR economy. This lame game of two neighbor countries turning their back on each other for decades needs to stop.
