And if Israel does not find a two states solution, and the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are able to vote it will be the end of the Jewish State. And as for Israel being a free press. Check your facts. Israel was just downgraded to partly free because of its censorship of the their press, and restrictions of movement in Gaza during the Operation Lead Caste. Tell me the name of a Muslim-majority state that would have half of the secular freedoms enjoyed by a range of people of different backgrounds in Israel today.

It would not be the end of the Jewish State right now, but Palestinians are having much more children then Jewish Israelis. So The United States is looking out for Israel as far as a two state solution unless Israel plans on committing genocide or just driving them all out or having permanent Apartheid which won't last. Face up to the fact that some of Israel's problems are their own making, and with out the U.S. direction they will never have any security in the Middle East.

Let's try to focus: Israel = parliamentary republic, multi-party political system, multi-ethnic citizens, multi-religious sacred institutions, refugees from dictatorships in Europe and the Near East, free press, private property.

Not Israel = kings, generals, presidents-for-life, mystic rulers, one-party rule, ethocentrism, theocratic, sided with the Nazis during WW2, no free press, private property if they feel like it.

Easy to understand why some people on this site complain about the US "taking orders" from Israel.
If you don't like the US, you don't like it's small version either.

I think that only Israel should be allowed to have nuclear capabilities,they are the only ones who can be trusted not to harm civilians or bully people who can't defend themselves.
They have proven themselves time and again to be good neighbors,and I think that America should continue to give them shameful amounts of money and weapons to promote the general welfare.

Why do we constantly take orders from Israel whether it is in the U.S. interest or not. Much of Israel's policies is not even in the interest of Israel. Bomb Iran. What good will that do besides delay their nuclear program, and encourage extremist sentiment in Iran's younger more secular population. Even their war in Gaza was a disaster. Hamas is still bombing, was made to look like the victim, and over 900 civilian dead Palestinians dead has encouraged more extremism in the region. Is the far right BIBI the U.S. President of Barrack Obama.
