So, if they were "teenage Somaian boys" does that mean US soldiers in their teens are also "boys"?

Rush Limbaugh was aghast that the pirates were between 17 and 19 and killed. Well, isn't that the age of most millitary personnel? And does it really matter what age someone is when they're sticking an AK-47 in your face and threatening to kill you?

of course here in the states when a 18 or 19 year old "gangbanger" has an ak47 aimed at a cop and the cops fire back and kill him....the libs here want the cops fired and prosecuted

Hawkspring, if somebody has a gun to your head, would you care how old they are when a sniper takes them down? Or would you be pisssed because it was a teenager who you think would have no ability of causing you harm?

When you talk stupid like this, no one takes you seriously. I know that you can't stand the fact that Obama is popular among his supporters, while Republicans swore they never even heard of George W. Bush before durng the 2008 election. But that's no reason to post such foolish tihngs.

Obama said what he had to in order to get elected....all politicians do that....he will be typical politician and not follow thru on a lot of what he said.

So much love on this board... All that we have learned here is Mr. Obama is not going to shrink away in this type of situation. Did this whole event make things worse? Probably yes, but what choices were there? I'm no big ex president Bush supporter but I really think if this had happened a few months before we'd be seeing these same posts from the opposite people. The one lesson I'm sure Mr. Obama is starting to see is we have some adversaries that can't be won over with just diplomacy.
