"What people NEED to realize is that it''s 250k NET income. It''s NOT GROSS INCOME. My company brings in 3 mil a year, but only net profits about 14K!, so MOST companies will get a break, including "Joe", which he''s now learned. It''s a GOOOD thing! Also, FYI, McCain''s 5k credit for health ins. can ONLY be taken if you itemize your taxes! Most don''t, and only those under 35 can get a plan for 5k a year and most of them DO NOT itemize,"

Since 8 years of GWB - a.k.a. the "Sole Decider" didn''t perform too well, I''m willing to let the "Next Guy" take a shot at it.
And obviously the "Next Guy" happens to be the "That Guy" that Mr. McCain pointed out during the debate.
Let''s face it - even though Mr. McCain claimed that he''s not GWB, BUT if he gets elected - it''ll be as GWB continuing his Third term - simply because all the Republican cabinet members will most likely remain.
What kind of change (in Washington) is that?
I''ll vote for "That Guy" coming November.
If "That Guy" doesn''t perform well, coming 2012, I''ll vote for "Some Person".
But this November - no McCain nor that WINK WINK woman will get my vote - Joe or no Joe makes no difference!

It''s hilarious to see the dimwits campaigning against Obama and claiming to represent the interest of Joe the plumber. Any fool can see that Obama''s tax plan doesn''t affect those making less than a few hundred thousand a year and that McBush''s plan heavily favors the rich at the expense of the middle class. This has been verified by independent and objective analysis. It''s a weird tradition of the ignorant voting against their own economic self-interest because they''ve been fooled by the GOP for so long. I hope that the dupes don''t get to determine our reality for the next four years.

"BULL" Taxes never stopped business before, They/you just cut back on quality/quantity and upped the price, then your profit margin looked unchanged or higher to the stock holders.

If you don''t believe me, try to buy a 1/2 gallon of Ice Cream. You can''t, it''s 1.5 quarts at a avg price of $4.99 per container

Because you insist on continuing to pay other''s health care expenses using the most inefficient system imaginable -- the one we currently have.

Was used and discarded under the bus by Senator McCain in the presentation of yet another lie. Better learn or you may be Senator McCain''s next victim.

Since Joe "the plumber" lied about being a plumber, lied about what he makes, and his name isn''t even Joe.
What should we call him?

Joe the plant?

Joe the fraud?

Joe the moron?

You decide.

You will still probably be paying over the 900 a year because a policy for and individual of family''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s in McCain;s price range carries a $5000 deductible and the hospitals still will not be paid for most services under that limit so it will be embedded in your health insurance premiums.

Posted by misha128 at 12:25 PM : Oct 17, 2008

Ive got news for you. Nobody is getting free health care no matter who the president is for at least another 10 years. Suck it up.

Posted by hillaryin012 at 12:28 PM

Guess again it happens today and has been happening for years -- why do think health care premiums and hospital charges are so high --- to spread out the cost of those that do not pay so the hospitals can continue to offer service. And the law says the hospital can be held legally responsible for not treating a critically ill patient even when they cannot pay.

Posted by misha128 at 12:33 PM : Oct 17, 2008

Your not getting free health care in the US for a long time. Sorry.

Posted by hillaryin012 at 12:39 PM

Deny it as much as you want but you are already paying for free health care for others today.

Under McCain too when he taxes health care with no relief for the $900 a year or more you pay in additional health care premium to provide services to the uninsured and underinsured (those insured under McCain''''''''s new plan with $5000 or more in annual deductables). It seems under McCain''''''''s plan you get to pay extra for other people''''''''s health care twice totaling more than the Obama plan -- doesn''''''''t sound very cost effective.

Changing the subject to deny the truth -- OK what about Obama''s credit for employees health care does that help your business add employees -- if not it sounds like your business is incapable of adding new employees anyway.

So this is an awful lot like the whole Sarah Palin thing, isn''''t it. McCain introduces us to these people, oh and then by the way, everything he says about them turns out to be a lie. I guess if you stood McCain next Joe the (non)plumber, tax evader, he would look smart. Is that what they were thinking?
