CBSNews.com Analysis: Candidates Offer Few Economic Answers In Second Debate, But Status Quo Benefits Obama
- With plenty of anti-american sentiment/folks surrounding Obama,
why won''t he make a phone call to Hawaii''s Dept Vital Stats to release his original birth certificate to IRREFUTABLY PROVE his claim to be a natural born AMERICAN.
Obama''s mother was a radical activist and converted to ISLAM. (for fun--Youtube: manning bristol palin)
Obama''s highschool mentor, Frank M. Davis was a COMMUNIST. (Incidentally, Russia is expected to become 50% Muslim by mid-century).
Dr. Khalid Al Mansour ''sponsored'' Obama''s Harvard Education and Autobiography "Dreams of my father" (It has 44 lies--1st LIE--Obama''s MUSLIM father was an official for the Kenyan government;NOT A GOAT HERDER)
"CAIR''s agenda from the start is to Islamize America"-Brigitte Gabriel.
Funny. One of the lawyers defending Obama in the Berg Lawsuit 08cv4083 has ties to CAIR.

Obama is not Muslim, according to the non-partisan website factcheck.org, which points out lies from both political parties.
That said, any Christian here who has problems with the Muslim faith should ask themselves this:
Are the Muslims wrong for believing the teachings of Jesus are important?
They do believe that. Look in Wiki.
A Christian view against Islam is like a Christian view against Christ - it just doesn''t make logical sense. - Reply to this comment
- What can McCain possibly do to win this election?
I don''t see him pulling it off, so would like to hear thoughts. - Reply to this comment
- Dearest Raheem,
Did you know that to be our President you actually have to be a natural born citizen of the USA? I believe it''s in the CONSTITUTION?
I''ve got plenty of pigment in my skin, maybe like you. I''ve also been called "anti-Christ" "JUDAS" "closet-REPUBLICAN" and GLEEFULLY add "racist"
But I''m partial to "IAGO" myself.
I''m also for a woman''s choice. (I''m not going to do 90% of the child-rearing!)
But I agree with RONNIE!
Unlike you, he actually is willing to evaluate both candidates. Like him, I put COUNTRY FIRST.
Does Obama prove this with any of his friends?
By the way, I TRUST Obama when he says there are 57 states in the USA, but I VERIFIED it to be 50 (ask any American).
I think he''s confused with what he learned in Indonesia--the 57 STATES OF ISLAM! (youtube it)

- Dear hbevis,
Socialism is indeed eating up our culture. But something more insidious is occuring.
Did you know these facts? Please, for my following comments:

One more thing, Senator. I TRUST you when you say there are 57 states in the USA, but I VERIFIED that there are 50.
However, there are 57 STATES OF ISLAM.
I TRUST Ahmadinejad''s "vision" (at the U.N. in N.Y. last September) of a personal role in ushering the return of the SHIITE MUSLIM MESSIAH. I want to VERIFY Barack (=blessed) Hussein Obama''s original birth certificate to prove it''s not him.
On public record, Obama will say bad things about Sunni''s BUT NEVER SHIITES!
TRUST, BUT VERIFY.
Raheem, great to hear from you! But can I be racist if I''m not white and voted for GORE? - Reply to this comment
- I am a liberal democrat. But, I want our president to be selected based on merits, and not by an overwhelming bias, and propaganda. I don''t understand why the media and liberal-leaning papers jump all over, when William Ayers or Tony Rezko''s connections with Barack Obama is discussed. After all, if Obama does not have anything to worry, is it not welcome that this thing comes out in the open. Should Obama be protected at all cost? Didn''t the media push us into the Iraq War? They failed us once, and fail us again. In 2000 election, it was painful for me to see the media glowing over Bush as the savior of White House''s "integrity" and "morality". We know what we got. Now, it is the media''s turn to brainwash everyone into believing Obama has done nothing wrong, and will do none. Please don''t push your agenda on us. If there is a story about Obama and Ayers, investigate it, explain it. Don''t attack those who bring it in the open. We don''t believe in Hannity. We want YOU to do it for us. Ask Obama why he associated with Ayers, Wright, and Rezko so long and in so much depth. Let the world know what he has to say. Don''t push Obama into the White House. Let him earn it. We deserve that, and you need to earn that respect, by asking tough questions to Obama too. Don''t be a propaganda machine for any party or any candidate. The reason I am a Democrat is because of the dislike I have for right-wing loud mouths. If you believe Obama is good, he''ll come out clean. BUT DON''T COVER IT UP.

- Dear Iphyt4u,
Like you and the majority of americans, I have a good feeling about Obama winning the election.
But I believe in:
TRUST, BUT VERIFY. (popularized by Reagan)
"Con artists do their homework. They understand what triggers people to buy on blind faith. They will appeal to the DREAMER in you."
Which candidate profusely uses the word "DREAM"?
TRUST, BUT VERIFY.
In 1983, 50 media conglomerates existed. Today, only FIVE control all of TV and radio.
Is Obama or McCain the media darling?
TRUST, BUT VERIFY
"FEAR is a particularly powerful motivator for con artists during times of economic downturn .
Scammers will EXPLOIT your concern about whether or not you will have enough money to meet future living expenses and medical needs.
Con artists try to make you feel INADEQUATE if you don''t believe them."
Who makes me feel this way Obama or McCain?
TRUST, BUT VERIFY.
"Perform thorough background checks and deny government positions and security clearances to Muslim activists."--Brigitte Gabriel (Her once-Christian country of Lebanon is now ISLAMIC)
I just want to see Obama''s ''original'' birth certificate as part of my DUE DILIGENCE. Federal Judge Surrick will decide in BERg v OBAMA 08cv4083.
I trust Obama, but I still need to see his natural-born citizen ID.
TRUST, BUT VERIFY. - Reply to this comment
- Want 4 more years of this situation. Vote for John McSame, he self admittedly went along with the president over 95% of the time. The haves and the have mores, what Bush refers to as his republican political base. Invading and occupying a third world country for the last 6 years doesn''t seem like a real good idea now does it. We didn''t find weapons of mass destruction, and our gas prices doubled. Stay the course, vote for John McSame.

- http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/08/senate.election/index.htmlFear the Dems 61 votes in the Senate. They will have a filibuster proof majority preventing any opposition to their agenda. The last time this happened. The last time either party had this ability was in the 95th Congress of 1977-1979, when Democrats held 61 seats during President Jimmy Carter''s administration. Carter faced concerns similar to those today -- economic instability, inflation and a 7.5 percent unemployment rate. Remember how successful the Carter years were? Well if you have a Democratic controlled Congress and Obama, then you''ll be repeating the Carter Adminsitration all over again. So if you think McCain is another Bush, then Obama is another Carter.

I see that you are laying it on heavy today. Kind of strong talk but, for some reason I agree with you totally.
Our country is being lost to Socialism and it does not seem that anyone cares. And WE are on the verge of an Economic meld down in our Country and if that happens the whole World will melt down with us. - Reply to this comment
- I support your views. Mine are a little different. I''''''''ll vote McCain. I''''''''m still peeved about 9/11, I feel that liberal policies and lack of committment to welfare reform are what I view as serious issues. You are right though, there are a lot of hateful people on here

Welfare reform? Clinton initiated the largest welfare reform bill in its history. But if you want more done with it, Bush and Republicans (including) were in charge of everything for six years of his presidency. So why would you vote for McCain? - Reply to this comment
- Who are these "undecideds." There are stark differences between these two candidates. This ought to be the easiest choice for voters to make in years. So how on earth could you still be "undecided"

- What is disheartening is the absolute adherence by both candidates to the required Washington orthodoxy:
1.) "I love Israel" -- What kind of malarkey is this? Israel is a foreign country that is both fanatically religious and possesses hundreds of nuclear weapons, to boot! They have horribly mistreated the Palestinian people! I''m tired of having billions of my tax dollars support them!
2.) Iran is a danger -- Total baloney. Not only is there NO evidence that Iran has a nuke, even if they did, so what? Israel has hundreds and we have thousands. We dealt with a nuclear-armed to the teeth Soviet Union for decades! Sheesh, who is Iran going to attack without themselves being reduced to a sheet of glass in retaliation? Gimme a break!
3.) Worship of the military -- TWO wars that have gone on longer than WWII with no end in sight that are sucking us dry financially, coupled with ever-more macho talk about "protecting Israel" from imagined enemies. We need a military that is lean and mean and protects the United States -- nothing else!
4.) Messianic vision of America -- We can''t even lead our own country down the right path. Only Americans in their self delusion think that the world is awaiting salvation from us. This cult mindset is dangerous!
Neither Obama nor McCain offers anything fundamentally different. Their grand plans are just so much window dressing, as each will have to face a nation in serious economic decline with a homeless, jobless population. - Reply to this comment

- I just want someone to tell me how the country I love and respect so much is allowing one of the Presidential candidates and their running mates to incite the persons at their rallies to a point where they are screaming "Kill him!", smiling and laughing about it and no one is even raising an eyebrow. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO US???? If someone representing me acted that way I would be OUTRAGED!!! But no one is saying anything, not one person...where are the real Americans? Overseas fighting to help that country stay free of exactly what is happening in ours right now...

- I had hoped that maybe one of the candidates would come forward hard lined fashion against the 20 cent bailout. However to my amazement they both simply would not wait to help write another rubber check. Now the big boys are dancing in the streets with high dollar parties and laughing at the American tax payers!
To hell with it.. You go ahead and vote for the sorry rascals. Not me. - Reply to this comment

I''m still peeved that Bushoccio and his crime cabal the GOP that includes McSame allowed 911 to happen for their personal gain. And they are also part of the corporate welfare state they are giving big business. But why ANYONE would be dumb enough to vote for the sad angry sack that is McSame is beyond my comprehension. There sure are a lot of ignorant Americans in this country. - Reply to this comment
- we need to clarify a few things. obama is not black! he is of african and caucasian blood. he was raised by his white grandparents. does''nt that part of his blood get any credit? secondly, if he was a muslim,he was''nt after he denouced being muslim, even if he had done it in private. this media is to blame for all of this b.s.! they have become masters of manipulation at our expense! am i really supposed to believe that last nights debate was a stalemate, because the media said so? i have a brain. was obama supposed to punch mccain in the mouth for the media to tell he won the fight. the media will continue to mentally masturbate on the public until they get the results they want. mccain as the next president! god help us!
