Whatever. I listened to the debate while driving ut for hinting and I really did not see the expressions of the candidates.

I recall that this was the debate where McCain was going to standout and perhaps tip the race in his favor. After all the talking was over I thought it was draw. Based on the polls that looks like a valid conclusion and if so this trouble for McCain.

If you makes you comfortable you can call Obama anything you wish, but you better get ready because its starting to look like Obama is going to win.

McCain does not have an answer and with a 90 percent approval rating of Bushs agenda, he is in trouble.

"Ok, first of all Obama is not a Muslim and second if he was... SO WHAT?!? Does it really matter? If the one person who is qualified to be president (which Obama has proven to be) happens to be of a different religion or race, that shouldn''''t influence anyones opinion..and if it does then I feel very very sad for you. It''''s the 21st century...racism is getting a little old dont you think?"

People who say that show some serious bigotry and lack of sophistication. Like there aren''t millions of Muslims worldwide, like calling someone Muslim is some kind of insult. Again, playground behavior. "You, you MUSLIM you!" LOL!

someone wrote: "I''''m laughing too. Because OBAMA is a JOKE. John McCain never ONCE mumbled."

Akbar....Akmadeni...armando..aki..(red face..) amka (..passes gas..)Ahmadinejad.

"He never balled his fists angrily, he never scowled and turned red. So, stop LYING."

He did, he balled his fists, he scowled profusely like an owl (what was that about anyway? there''s a video of it on you tube, do your own research).

" He did, however, chuckle now and then. Because he KNOWS what an idiot Obama IS."

No, he smirked like a kindergartner because he wasn''t inclined to act like a statesman, he took the low road, let his temper get the best of him.

"Obama is the one who HAD to say..."I have a bracelet, too!"....now THAT was childish."

OMG. How childish is that, to say "I have a bracelet too, when we are talking bracelets. LOL!

Or how he said..."talk the talk" after John Mcain said it. Can''''t he think or say anything on his OWN? Must he always COPY?? Without his teleprompter, he''''s LOST."

He was polished and intelligent, and there has never been a teleprompter, I''ve seen him live twice.is that the best you guys can come up with? try again. Copy? now that''s some playground language. What''s next, tattle?

"He CAUSED a fight with the bailout talks, after the Dems handed control over to him. Street thug. (to anyone who cares, this is hidden racist language.) Tells people to..."get in people''''s faces"....typical RADICAL behaviour. (yep, they''re all like that. LOL!)"

Let''s see whether people continue to buy the lies. Even McCain supporters know that Obama would make a better president. That''s what scares them so much. They want to win...even if it means America loses. Just like with Bush.

I laughed so hard. If mumbling, balling your fists angrily, scowling, turning red, not looking at your opponent and childishly smirking is looking presidential, then God help us all.

Regardless who was able to better belittle the other candidate, we should be more focused on the issues that have affected us in the last years. And see who is serious about employment. The bail out 700 billion is going to end up as loans to corporations who will invest abroad & the money is going to eventually move out offshore. The wall street may feel stronger again. But the root cause of the problem will remain unsolved. Many people have given mortgages and obtained secured loans not commensurate with their earnings. This fact will not change. Several people are living beyond their means and spend money using their credit cards. People are living beyond their means because the corporations are not ready to invest within American. They get protection & benefits on taxes and invest outside. The new leadership must focus on the hidden root cause behind the apparent reason that people we have taken mortgages or spending on credit cards beyond their means.

Knowing somebody with shady background does not mean you are necessarily bad or involved with the person.
Does it not happen you know your neighbor for so many years and one day find out in the news about him being bad in some sense.
We hear such stories on TV.
So don''t accuse a person just because whom he knows as a regular person turns out to be bad.

Hey, if the media says it, it must be true, right??

WRONG!

McCain obviously looked more presidential, more compassionate, more articulate. Just because Obama didn''t bomb doesn''t mean he won!

iam your basic pessimist and from what I can see with the polls we will see Obama as president. The only saving grace is that we still have a month to go and switches could still occur. Many in polls don''t have firm opinions. I know the liberals and dems on this site are thrilled but you may not get what you want in Obama and considering the troubled economy all the promises he has made cannot be funded.

His lack of experience in international affairs may be a real liabillity for this country and his willingness to raise taxes could be disastrous in these economic lean times,

My one hope is the last time dems had both houses and the presidency they shot themselves in the foot and lost 46 seats in the house of representatives in the next mid term elections and the republicans actually forced a balanced budget without raising taxes.

The other silver lining is that Hillary Clinton will not get to be president.

the balck lining is the nomination of liberal judges for the supreme court which will continue roev wade as law of the land indefinitely.

If he''''s so stupid, why are the polls rising in his favor? Wait until Palin has to debate. Obama will win in a landslide.

First of all, POLLS are BS. And the MEDIA is completely to blame, at their unfair reporting and bias. They have been instructed, to PUSH Obama. The GREAT ONE. Alot of stupid people fall for what they say and keep repeating over and over and over again. Brainwashing. Intelligent people, those who actually think ON THEIR OWN, have already seen through Obama.

Sarah will do JUST fine. No doubt, better than fine. And as much as I like Joe Biden, I''ll be anticipating whatever silly things he might say. He flubs up constantly. And even though he has experience, and he''s intelligent, do we really want HIM as VP, not knowing what he might say to foreign leaders??? I THINK NOT.

McCain is going to win. A true American. NO Muslim, Radical ties.

Then your aware of Obama interuptions and calling Mr. McCain by the name of JOHN.

It seems the only reason people think McCain can "handle" foreign policy is exclusively the fact that he is old, white, male, and republican.
There is nothing special about anything he has said. No insight.. No broad vision.. Except a vague idea that war is good, and America kicks ***. Does this high-school shiite really get votes?
Why is this country so ignorant that a few comments, written by professional speech-writers for a debate, can change poll results?
How can people be so abysmally stupid?
Why can''t people rely on THEMSELVES for getting information, instead of sound-bites and stereotypes?
WHY? WHY? Why is everyone SO FREAKING DUMB???
I don''t care who you vote for. But for god''s sake, at least have real, articulable reasons, backed up not by one reason, or one statistic, but a broad assessmenent of trends and ideology?
And, an HONEST look at how CRAPPY life in this country has become politically?
WHAT A JOKE REPUBLICRATS and DEMICANS.
You''re all the same. Cowards. Stupid fools.
