Obama and Ayers were at school in New York in 1982/3. Obama graduated from Columbia in 1983, Ayers graduated from Bank Street College - 371 yards down the road from Columbia - in 1984.

Obama stayed working in New York until 1985, Ayers attended Columbia from 84-87 gaining two more degrees.

In 85 Obama left New York and moved to Ayers home town - Chicago - to work among Ayers'' circle of friends. Ayers moved back to Chicago in 87.

Obama got into Harvard with the Assistance of powerful connections of Ayers'' father.

Obama met his wife while working a summer job at the law firm that employed Ayers'' wife..
