Comments on: The Truth Behind The VP Candidates' Claims
CBS Evening News Reality Checks The Palin-Biden Debate
- It is astonishing that there are people who accept the mediocre performance of Govenor Palin in the VP debate as a success. Even the respondents who graded her on the report card posted on the Fox News website graded her performance as a D, while they graded Senator Biden''s as a B.

- Akorede22,
I repeat to you the message I addressed to mydiatribe:
You use the right handle. You probably believe the only time you are getting fairly reported information is if it comes from such right wing hacks as rush Limbaugh, Bill O''''Rielly or Sean Hannity. Anyone who accepts Fox''''s claim that it presents fair and balanced reporting is ignorant. - Reply to this comment

- Those who say that Govenor Palin has done great as a govenor must not have been paying attention to the facts about the Troopergate investigations, the fact that she lied about telling congress "thanks but no thanks to the bridge to nowhere", and her efforts to avoid having shady behavior be transparent by using personal email acoounts to communicate Alaska business.
She not only did not tell congress no on the bridge, but she accepted the $233 million in pork barrel funding to use on other projects when she recognized the bridge to Katchikan was becoing too much of a political embarrassment. Also, she accepted, on behalf of Alaska, $135 million in pork barrel funds to build a bridge between Anchorage and a point near Wasilla. - Reply to this comment
- In the Interest of fair reporting, it would have made this report a bit more credible if they had included at least one OF THE NUMEROUS misrepresentations POSED BY JOE BIDEN. Especially considering they outnumbered Palin''s by ratio of six to one!!!

I fear you are right, because she has her eyes set on being president of the United States and I don''t believe Sarah Palin will allow anything to deter her from seeking that position ~ not lack of knowledge, not lack of experience, not lack of ethics, not John McCain, not the Republican party. Whatever it takes , I''m sure that that little "gee whiz" "goll ***" winking little pit bull will go to any extreme to get what she wants.
I guess the rest of us are just going to have to be ultra vigilant if we want someone of character to occupy the oval office. - Reply to this comment
- *** it all this %u201Cfact check%u201D is nothing more then the filter media that Palin does not like. How dare the people get a truthful perspective of the words spoken by a candidate? Don%u2019t Ya know it is all about how Ya act and not what Ya know, you betcha.

- I''m finding it difficult to understand why i cant get a fair view of Mccain-Palin... unless i watch Fair & Balanced channels like Foxnews. You guys here are too biased & obviously already have ur minds made up towards Obama, therefore unable to be objective. This is a Governor, who turned her State around for good.... Inherited a deficit & now has a surplus budget... connects with average real life ppl & has lived what she is promising to do for the Country.... The point is if you''re faithful in little, You''ll be faithful in much. She has done really good as a Governor, She''ll be Great as a VP

You are right and she would really do a great job in that kind of position.
However, we are not interviewing her for that kind of advertising gig. We are interviewing her for the somber job of rebuilding the United States. The qualifications for the two separate jobs are starkly different. - Reply to this comment
- This board proves it, Obama''s biggest hurdle to winning is the republican racism. On issues, there is no possibility as sane person would support continuing the Bush policies.
But, republicans have done a great job of netting the racist and homophobes who are always motivated by their hate.
The KKK is alive and well, it''s just more saavy now and wearing a red Vote McCain button. - Reply to this comment
