McCain is an idiot! He blusters about experience and thumps his chest about his POW history like having been a POW should automatically make him the President. He may have years of experience but if they didn''t teach him anything then they were wasted. He still wants to continue the Bush policies of making the rich; richer and the poor; poorer. And speaking of gaffes, he didn''t even know that Katie Couric had disproved his remark about Henry Kissinger meeting with foreign leaders when his VP Palin had screwed it up on her interview two days earlier. He had time for an interview with Katie, too bad he didn''t watch the interview Palin did with her. Barak Obama is intelligent, thoughtful, and displays excellent judgment. That''s something McCain can''t attain. He''s a hot headed Bush republican who does not and will never care for the plight of those earning less than his version of middle class, the five millionaire club. So how''s he going to get out of the next debate?

nYou live in the United States & you have no idea how the government works? That is a shame.

YEP... You sound like McCain. You tell others they don''t understand how government works (quote McCain ''You don''t understand''). When the fact is you have no idea what you are talking about. For your information, there are three branches of government. The president has all the power of the Executive branch, and with the power of the veto, he also holds 2/3 of the power of the legislative branch. Couple that degree of power with a willingness to lie to congress and the American people to get what he wants... well, if you don''t get it, everyone else does.

What''s with this ''WE'' ***, John...you got a Republican rat in your pocket?

I believe it''s more likely the other way around.

DO NOT PRESUME TO IMPLY THAT YOU ARE SPEAKING FOR, ''US''...FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE! YOU ARE NOT!

I hope for your sake you''re being paid by your NeoCon masters in advance, because you''re not too subtle.

Meh, this is kind of irrelevant at this point, but you know which exaggeration is starting to get on my nerves is how Barack''s claims of leading on securing loose nukes are getting into the realm of Al Gore inventing the internet or the McCain campaign''s claims of inventing the Blackberry.

Richard Lugar crafted legislation in the early 90''s to secure loose nukes because Russia was so poor they couldn''t afford adequate security and nukes were going missing. Once fully implemented by 1994, no nukes have been lost since, and the law was still good when Barack asked Lugar if he wanted to update it.

Like Barack showed initiative in cultivating Lugar which got him like a take your kid to work day trip to Russia, and the 20th century edition of the law got expanded to include the securing of other weapons. But isn''t the reality that in the rigidly hierarchical Senate, newbies just don''t get the chance to do anything of substance until they''ve been there through at least one re-election unless they bring a unique area of expertise like Jim Webb with the GI bill (?)

I recorded that CNN forum with the former secretaries of state, both Republican and Democrat. They ALL agreed that it is time to talk to Iran. The Bush administration was talking to Iran through 2003. One of them asked, "What are we afraid of?" Just because you meet with someone doesn''t mean you are giving concessions. What are you afraid of?

Anyone else tired of hearing how when he was a POW.......BORING....granted, it was a heroic thing at the time....but time moved on.....so should he.....The rest of the unadored vets have had to....I am sure they could help him do so.
