Nice try but your guy just shot himself in the foot and then stuffed said foot down his own throat. Sorry about your Tesla stock, though. And while some of what he said is accurate, a lot of what he says in this interview is pure twaddle.

He can call for gas so high. He is rich and can afford it. We are not, and can't. If he wants to do something for the environment, then have him put out a fuel call car that we could afford.

Musk came to America from S Africa with nothing. Worked his way through undergraduate college. Got a fellowship to go to Stanford fro a PhD... physics. While there, decided to skip a graduate degree, and go into the internet. Made a billion dollars. And is using his billion to promote human exploration of space, and alternative energy.

Unlike Paris Hilton, no coattails here. He's not perfect (believe me). But he's earned his position.

I like the idea of all the rich people just writing checks to the govt to cover our costs and if they don't like it they can just take their business and leave. I mean banned.

Naw I liked it when it was 1.59$ a gallon. By the way, when did we start to use $ for dollars? what symbols do other countries money use? I mean there are only like 9 symbols on my keyboard.

10 dollar gas would create a massive fuel black market, and no fuel at the sanctioned gas pumps for the loyal comrades. Scary how we are becoming the former Soviet Union. He must have gotten that CEO positon becauase his daddy is chairmen of the board.

He has earned his position. Now if you all could turn around and bend a little for my master.

What a condescending little prick this Musk is ...

$10 gas.....I don't know about that. However he is right about gas being more expensive than what it says at the pump.

Gas is HEAVILY subsidized.....you could easily add $4-5 when all the subsidies including military are added up. However you don't see it at the pump but you pay it out every year in the form of income taxes. I'd favor a gas tax if we could get a lower income tax in return. People would think twice about filling up gas guzzlers and the market would eventually take care of itself to put America back on a path to fiscal stability....how many hundreds of billions will we send out of our country this year for oil imports?

and I would totally eat at your Cuban sandwich shop. And Elon is totally the kind of guy who would invest in it, if he thought it would make a profit.
