We were NUMBER ONE in the world in our standard of living when we started this INSANE Trickle Down Garbage, today we are DEAD LAST among the G-7. Now IF there has BEEN no success, we MUST turn away from it!!

- The surplus was caused by an economic boom when IT developed. Imagine that more people working more tax money coming in. More people making lots of money really alot more money coming into the government.
Government spending and trickle down economics are 2 seperate entities and should be treated so.

I KNOW that Bush made NO attempt and NEVER produced ONE Balanced Budget in 8 years. I KNOW that our standard of living FELL EVERY single year that the Republican''''s ran things. Plus you obviously have not recognized that those bills where heavily voted for on the democratic side of the aisle. Check out the US senate website or the clerks office for the H.R.

- It is absolutely critical that we break our dependence on imported energy. We can not survive sending more of our wealth to OTHER nations as we have been. I know we shouldn''t use the word IF but IF we listen to Jimmy Carter and do this in the 80''S we are so much better off today.

- If Bush had had this kind of vision 8 years ago, we wouldn''t be in the mess we''re in now. $60 billion blown on his wars every six months would have paid for an unbelievable AMERICAN energy infrastructure instead of leaving us reliant on and funneling billions of dollars to middle eastern sources every month. I thank God for a man who stands up for the American people for a WELCOME CHANGE, instead of doing everything in his power to funnel money toward favored corporations to the long-term detriment of an impoverished nation.
