President-Elect Picks Panel To Aid In New Agency Selections
- Well, first of all, the unemployment rate in the US was 4.8 less than Clinton''''s average, btw which was right before the socialist democraps hit Congress...and the country WAS in debt during the Clinton administration, he just rather FORGOT to put in interest on national and international debt in his handy dandy budget calculations...THIS COUNTRY HASN''''T BEEN FREE FROM DEBT!

So I guess you think that Bush''s deficit spending was a GOOOD THING and that it had nothing to do with wrecking the economy.
Real smart there, Rowdy. - Reply to this comment
- There won''''t be any democrates able to fill the positions. Obama will have to import mexicans to fill his cabnit posts.

The stock market was high, most every one was working and WE WHERE NOT IN DEBT. The last one is the big one. WE WHERE NOT IN DEBT.

You have the nerve to call someone else an idiot? You can''t even spell WERE correctly. Your statement should have said, "We were not in debt" which is foolish, because there has been a national debt since before I was born 52 years ago. And the only republican president that had a low unemployment rate was Ronald Regan. It''s almost always the Democrats who have a record of a stronger economy and lower unemployment rate and I''ve looked it up in online at the Dept. of Labor and Standards.
I truly wish if you are going to comment, you''d actually get some facts instead of just spouting foolish rhetoric that you''ve heard someone else say and you think it ''sounds'' smart. - Reply to this comment

- Obama himself could not pass this test, in fact he could not even pass a minimum security check for employment in a sensitive area of Government. Yet he is being entrusted with the fate of this country.

NO, it is NOT. If Obama were to fill out a questionairre for a security clearance and actually be honest for the first time in his adult life about his associations (like Bill Ayers, Tony Rezco,Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farakan,Odinga, etc, etc..) there is NO WAY he would pass a secret security clearance in the military.
Those of us who have served know this.

- I hear that McCain''s negotiations with Viagra are going well, and Palin''s hoping for a guest spot in Playboy and thinking of attending the Rev. Jimmy Jones(of the Jonestown suicide fame) Institute for religious fanatics(the born again are about as crazy as the "radical isalmic terroriots that John raves about) as a way of getting tighter with the Christian religious right.
Dubya and Darth have their lifetime reservations at the Saudi Hilton in Ryahad, Arabia, which has no extradition treaty with the US. Karl, Rush, Al, Rummy, Condi, Harriet, Karen are all working on their plea agreements and then the books they will right after they get "religion" and reform and are forgiven.

Quite simply a public post on a web site is not private. In a country where such public statements can become more than embarrassing issues and impediments to effective government, such an investigation is not unwarranted. - Reply to this comment

- Before taking up his post as Senator for the State of Illinois, Barack Obama swore an oath "to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America".
Before taking office as President, he`ll swear the same oath.
Earlier this week, he resigned from the Senate.
It`s clear he`s decided to take advantage of this two-month period when he''s not constrained by this solemn oath to carry out all the "unreasonable searches and seizures" that he can get away with.
