Vetting people who come into your administration is an absolute requirement. Perhaps the far-right parrots here are upset because proper vetting will preempt the far right in their effort to tear down President Obama.

Any way a rational person looks at this, it makes sense. Too bad the idiots who cannot get enough of GOP spying on Americans and GOP using government money for political propaganda cannot distinguish between these GOP crimes and the voluntary vetting of applicants for the most important jobs in the world.
