- What the heck are you doing to your Toyota Prius? I commute a little over 90 miles per day (round trip)over highway 17 from Capitola to Los Altos CA and average nearly 50 mpg. I''ve driven it down to San Diego and averaged 51 mpg. If you don''t stomp on the gas pedal you''ll get better gas milage!

- Just an FYI to your video staff. Pittsburgh, PA is on the western side of Pennsylvania not the eastern. On tonights evening news the Pittsburgh sign was posted near the Harrisburgh area to show where your counter part was.

- A good way to look at fuel cost is fuel cost per mile. On the first day Team Cordes is paying 15 cents/mile and the west Coast team is paying 10.5 cents per mile. I have a diesel motor home in Texas paying 22.5 cents per mile. Calvin Copeland
