If I give you the IL Senate Bills mentioned by the NRA, will you look them up? I''m just quoting the NRA''s current ad. Saying "liar" indicates you know the real truth.
Want the SB''s? Heck, if the NRA is not telling the truth, we need to have at with them. - Reply to this comment
- Gee. I know a lot of professional women who don''t speak very well. They just make sense and make a lot of money. Kind of refreshing not to have someone smooth and with the ability to swoon you to dreamland with promises that will not happen.
Shoot, dang it, just give me someone I can understand. Sorry she does not meet your standards. She has not met any other left wing standards. This woman has really gotten into their heads. Must be talking good enough for the huge crowds she keeps drawing. Heck, that wink and nod works for me. Now you have me worried. We have to meet the speech criteria as deemed prudent by "all" professional women. You best do a survey..you will have a very large class. Dang it. - Reply to this comment
- @razrback44--- your "facts" are little known cause they are just straight out lies. but keep talking.. it''s a free country.. you''re protected by the 1st amendment that Sarah Palin isn''t aware of apparently. Did anyone hear about her interview yesterday? Good lord.. she''s dumber than a box of rocks. What school did she attend and what kind of horrible teachers are her parents that she is so ill informed? How can someone live to be that old and not know the basics of our great country''s constitution? She is sad.

- US-AR or without the dash USAR is a branch of the military and it stands for United States Army Reserves. I know this because I still have many copies of paperwork from when I was in the United States Army Reserves that lists this anacronym (USAR) after my name or the officer who wrote the order.

- You know, the Republicans might want to rethink making Palin their next superstar. Or, at the very least, teach the woman how to speak at the level we expect from ANY professional woman. We professional working women don''t get respect or credibility in the workplace by using a wink and a nod, or by talking like we''re still in the 7th grade. What I expect from a woman at her level is someone as well-informed and well-spoken as Condie Rice, Hillary Clinton, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Kathleen Sebelius. I expect someone with a grasp of the issues and an ability to speak with authority and a certain amount of gravitas. If Sarah Palin is the future of the GOP, the GOP is going to be hurting for more than the next yrs.

- ''WAKE-UP!all evangelicans unite behind mccain/palin for low taxes, better health care.and a better form of government."We the people"still have a say in who we elect to run our gov.life begin at conception" remember that! the other side does not agree with that term.all christians vote mccain/palin for the honor and decentency of the country.this will give business''s a chance to breathe and stay here and create jobs, something we need to happen. ther-wise they will lay off and move on,who could blame them if they did so.

- Another little unknown that OB will not own up to. Gun rights. The NRA has a huge ad going around that lists several bills and endorsements by OB. At least 2 of those bills listed came from the IL Senate which OB supported.
1 bill would send you to jail if you killed someone in your house trying to protect your family.
Good grief.
Well, I guess that is why gun sales have dramatically increased in the past 2 weeks. Get ''em while you can boys. Going to go away after Jan 1.
So, OB, who is correct. Palin or your past voting record? Or, is this another change for the Party of Change? Or, does the NRA have an ad which is not true? We need to see your side or spin. - Reply to this comment
- doesn''t matter.. palin attended public school and so do her children. the public school system is a socialist program. she''s a big ol'' socialist. some people don''t have kids or only have one but still have to pay taxes for all of her kids to go to school.

- Senator McCains choice of Gov Palin as his running mate has doomed his campaign, but more importantly, told us everthing we need to know about his judgement,or lack thereof. She was chosen only for her ability to energize the "conservative base",with no concern for her lack of experience on national or international issues. This is not "Country First" ,this is "Campaign First,Country Last"
Meanwhile Senator Obama''s choice of Joe Biden demonstrates strong management, bringing on someone for VP that would be solid if needed as President, who compliments
Obamas weaknesses, even thouh this selection would not bring him 1 more vote that he wasn''t allready going to get.
That,my friends, is "Country First".
I can''t wait till November 5''th,to send Palin a''packin back to Alaska, hopefully never to be heard from again. - Reply to this comment

I think the good Col is confused. I think he meant to type USA-R. But, he is also confused with the rest of his story. So, just take it in stride, yawn, and get on with life.
Look, 2010 is going to be a good year. By then the poor of this country will see that OB can''t deliver. NY Times profit has fallen 51% and their stock rating is now "junk." We have a little movement on NOT to buy products by GE..you know the stupid CEO who has about bankrupt GE and who owns NBC/MSNBC ( the ones in the tank with OB). You guys want to suppress the news (rig the election), we can play that silly little game also. LA Times, there are a few folks out there who will want to cancel their subscriptions.
Just keep on playing liberal politics with the news. In case you have not noticed, this country is severely divided and polarized. How about it NBC, MSNBC, going to get balanced? I think not.
LA Times, I don''t want the tape. We are better off with the public visualizing in their minds what really took place. The more talk, the wilder that episode will get..in our minds. Keep the tape. - Reply to this comment
- Didn''t Palin redistribute wealth by taxing Big Oil and then giving it to Alaskans? Funny how when Obama proposes the same thing, it''s "socialism". By their definition, wouldn''t Social Security also be socialism...that the Repubs wanted to privatize...and now they''re going to protect. Oh please, Tuesday can''t come soon enough.
jsutcurious...has obviously never spent time in the military. If so, you wouldn''t be so quick to go to war...your religious pentecostal KKK extremism is no different than bin laden''s message of hate and division.
When did being smart become elitist? So why bother sending kids to college? AS McCain put it...we''re all Joe the Plumbers today. Pretty pathetic when you have to rely on Joe the fake plumber to boost your campaign. Joe now has a publicist and working on a toy contract to merchandist Joe the Plumber action figures for Xmas... - Reply to this comment
- Sorry justcurious, but you''re way too late. I voted enthusiastically for Obama on the 1st day of early voting. I was practically giddy as I filled in his name on my ballot. Since then, I''ve driven other people to the polls so they can early vote for Obama too. In fact, McCain is outnumbered by about 4:1 in my county, Wake County, a key county in NC. I am about 30 minutes from my next shift with the local campaign, and there are hundreds of others in my county doing the same thing. I can assure we''re not stupid or ignorant. We''re educated and well-informed and we know a line of "BS" when we hear it (aka everytime McCain and Palin speak). North Carolina is going blue....count on it. Stick a fork in McCain/Palin....they''re done.

- Where are Sarahs medical records. They were due Wednesday. Is she getting a pass from the media?
She will show them at the last minute so they cannot be checked. - Reply to this comment
- I voted for Obama for president. I believe in his policies, his leadership and communicatin skills. I believe in his intelligence and choice of bringing the best of our nation to advice and serve.
I am not brainwashed nor uneducated or uninformed. Quite the opposite. I am a working mother who owns her own small biotech company and Obama''s plans benefit me economically. I support his plans for energy, foreign policy, education, healthcare, immigration, rule of law /constitution. I dont'' support the nationalistic Republican party that McCain is a member and has voted with Bush 90% of the time. He will only cause more ideocy and gridlock in our nation. - Reply to this comment
- The Republican party that has devastated our nation should be thrown out. "Throw the bums out!", "Kick the robber barons out!" Mr. McCain and Mrs. Palin have the same RNC platform - no difference except McCain affirms that global warming exists with a plan, and has a farther religious right position on women''s reproduction rights and abortion. McCain is exactly the same as Bush on the economy and is farther right than Bush supporting more tax cuts for the wealthy elite and corporatiions. McCain is promoting privatization of retirement money, healthcare, and education. McCain''s foreign policy isn''t a policy, it is a neoconservative idealogy.
The entire platform is one of a nationalist party and is not the Republican party of old. Nationalist parties around the world support the wealthy elite, right-wing religions, and neoconservative foreign policy. This is everywhere. The current nationalistic- light-fascism, needs to change and become more moderate. They are not supported by the majority of American citizens and patriots. - Reply to this comment
- It''s going to be great to send McCain back to Arizona and Palin back to Alaska. Except for Arizona and Alaska...

- What prey tell is "US-AR". No branch of the military that I am aware of. AND if you are former military, then you know you are sworn to uphold the liberties of Americans as prescribed by our Constitution.
And I don''t think our Constitution calls for a "re-distribution of wealth" nor the suppression of opposing voices by intimidation and censorship.
If we want to see a "New America" founded in far left liberal philosophies and beliefs then Obama is the One for a more socialist America, which is not what I believe our troops, over time, have fought and died for. - Reply to this comment

- Dear Undecided Voter,
You have nothing more precious than your personal liberty. Life can be scary and it is easy to look to a person who says they can CHANGE EVERYTHING. Hitler did this to a country that was hurting, because he was a clever guy and a good speaker. Obama has not shown anybody anything but has a long trail of question marks. We are at a critical moment in history. We need stability more than radical change. Reform yes, change our system to please those who would benefit? No. Obams is really George Bush of the Left. He wants to grab power, but Obama wants to use your money. I never saw anything trickle up and we did well under Reagan economically (not other ways necesarily) so for those concerned with economic issues I say: How do you build from the bottom up if the bottom is empty? When Obama, allegedly, takes all this money from corporations, they will only leave or put the cost back to you. It''s common sense but the elitist Liberals on the Left have tried negate your own common sense. That is why they have CRUCIFIED JOE THE PLUMBER AND SARAH PALIN. They will continue to wage war on white Christian and persecute them to replace your religion with their own intellectualism? and multi=culturalism. Soon it will be illegal to say your a Christian that believes in American values, or it will be dangerous. Look at the news, its happening already. - Reply to this comment
