From the Associated Press:
Obama%u2019s prime-time ad skips over budget realities
By CALVIN WOODWARD %u2013 3 hours ago
WASHINGTON (AP) %u2014 Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was less than upfront in his half-hour commercial Wednesday night about the costs of his programs and the crushing budget pressures he would face in office.

THE SPIN: %u201CThat%u2019s why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year.%u201D
THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it%u2019s not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.

People voting for this guy are under a trance from his neuro linguistic hypnosis techniques. The infomercial reminded me of an Amway recruitment video.
Please before you help elect this socialist wacko, read his books - don''''t just excuse his scary friends. Read his own words. If and when he gets to Washington there will be no one in his way.

The first family, -- Anyone who chooses to have three or four kids does not have my sympathy when times get hard for them.
******

Get an abortion, eh?

The transparent slam on Wal-Mart with the black guy and his wife and the health insurance would''''ve been obvious to Helen Keller.

Hello Helen!

And the lady with the special needs kid -- you know, the one with the Palin lookalike glasses. Does this schmuck think we are stupid with the obvious subliminals?

It left me with a slick, greasy feeling all over. I need the brown soap to get this off my body...

In reference to the people this moron highlighted:

The first family, -- Anyone who chooses to have three or four kids does not have my sympathy when times get hard for them. If you cannot foresee that some day you may not be able to support them and do not plan for it, then stop falling on your back with your legs spread lady!!!!!!!!! Get ''em cut after the first one buddy!!!!!! If I''ve said it once, I''m gonna say it million more times -- I''m not responsible for your kids, your healthcare, or anything else that goes with your choice to continue to have irresponsible ***.

The transparent slam on Wal-Mart with the black guy and his wife and the health insurance would''ve been obvious to Helen Keller.

And the lady with the special needs kid -- you know, the one with the Palin lookalike glasses. Does this schmuck think we are stupid with the obvious subliminals?

What an unbelievable piece of schmaltz that was. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!! Ya''ll know what that is??? Rendered chicken fat. THAT''s what I thought of that Redford-esque, Sundance production. It left me with a slick, greasy feeling all over. I need the brown soap to get this off my body...
