Let me get this straight. "Obama attended a party for Rashid Khalidi, a professor at Columbia University who has been critical of Israel and an advocate for Palestinian rights."

OMG!!! Barack Obama attended a party for a professor!!! Call the cops!! That professor had opinions that some people don''t like. Call the FBI!!!!! Geez, somebody get real.

Do you think namecalling and insults actually help your case?

This is the precise problem with the conservative campaigns; they attack, attack, attack, and they forget that they have to present their own case, not just make personal attacks.

But you want to recite krap about some ONE preacher that endorsed McCain, whom he barely knows?

Hypocrisy abounds in you people!

Its easier to deny the allogations then admit it to it. Obama supporters like to just brush everything negative about Obama.

I wonder if all these Obama supporters are that tolerant to their families and friends when they make mistakes. I bet you they aren''t.

I have my own opinion. I''ve expressed it, without fear, and fairly plainly. I think McCain shot himself in the foot by making demands about this video, when releasing it is only going to bring out the fact that he gave money to the very "terrorist" he''s condemning. I think it was a stupid move.

You, on the other hand, are not even willing to express your opinions, but are simply attacking others for giving theirs.

McCain had a good shot of winning this, if he hadn''t gone pretty much solely negative, if he''d tried to inspire the American people with his own vision of what he wanted. Instead, it looks like he will lose, and lose badly. And stunts like this only hammer the nails into the coffin his own campaign built.

ABMan827,

McBush is only taking public funds and obeying the laws attached to them because he cannot compete with Obama in raising funds

Close mental Pygmie....He is doing because of a Bi-partisan peice of legislation that He was part of...
McCain-Feingold....ever hear of it?

Life is indeed ironic, he stood by his principals on this and it may cost him the White house. That does not change the simple fact you loons refuse to admit...Obama misled and LIED about his intentions on public funding.

MIKE_C_NH,

Things change during a campaign. Obvioulsy, Obama learned he could raise far more moeny than the Repugs. On the day he stated that he would engage the Repug nominee in pursuing public funds, he menat it. It was his true intent at the time. Things changed.

I argue that if you don''t think giving half a million dollars to someone is any more serious than going to dinner with them, then you will either be very broke, or very lonely, very soon.

McCain gave half a million dollars to the same fellow he''s criticising Obama for going to dinner with. Terrorist or not, that seems like a foolish move on McCain''s part to me. Doesn''t it to you?

So you are admitting that Obama is breaking the laws on campaign funds.

And you should because how in the heck is he raising so much money. I hope if he wins he uses those same tactics to obtain money for the American People so no one in the middle class and below have to pay ANY TAXES. But I wouldn''t hold your breath on that one.

Sure, if we include in ALL the associates: Keating Five, the relationship with seven-times-felon Ted Stevens, the people on John McCain''s campaign payroll who smeared McCain himself in 2000 and whom he''s currently paying to smear his opponent?

Yeah, I''m in. Let''s discuss all of it. I''ll put Hagee up against Wright any day of the week for bigotry.

Ooh, can we discuss the leader of the Alaskan Independence Party too? After all, Sarah Palin''s husband was a member, and she herself spoke (gasp) at their convention. We can''t leave them out either. They loved America so much that they wanted to secede.

Mike_C_NH,

You are taking the word of the scoundrel Senator McCain that Senator Obama made him a promise to take public funding. why do you trust a liar?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Posted by Texbestest at 01:49 PM : Oct 29, 2008

I am referncing the fact that Obama NEVER...NOT ONCE attempted to contact McCain about "negoiating" it.

Obama himself does reputiate this.

I just find it so funny that you people cant admit that a lie...is a lie...Obama has got his way already. We are already heading back to the days of Clinton!..."is just depends on what your definition of is...uh...lie..is"

You can''''t decide whether giving half a million dollars to someone is a more serious commitment than having dinner with them?

That must make dating an interesting proposition.

"During the 1990s, while McCain served as chairman of the International Republican Institute (IRI), the group distributed several grants to the Palestinian research center co-founded by Khalidi."

I thought you people have been claiming for months now that past tangential relationships dont matter? I have no issue with ALL these "relationships" being brought out into the light. Both McCain''s & Obama''s....do any of you libs want to join in...ask for both candidates to go on TV this weekend and take direct questions about these relationships...ALL of them...no limits? any liberal takers?
