- Thanks for another unbiased article, Scott. Interesting that you never "fact check" any of your reports on Obama and Biden. Just so you''re aware, Palin actually understated Obama''s plans for his celebration party here in Chicago. A stadium actually would have been cheaper and far less of a burden on our city''s police force. Instead, the Messiah has asked the city to set aside the park where Lollapalooza is held each year, which will cost upwards of $3MM to hold. Yes, this is the guy who will be spending -- and giving away -- your money over the next four years. How long before buyer''s remorse sets in?

- I''m not into giving the government over to someone who thinks they "know the will of God" and bases really important decisions on her faith as opposed to reason. It''s presumptuous and delusional. I prefer someone that leads with the Constitution and the will of the people in mind. She doesn''t even appear to understand what the Constitution has to say about her role as Vice-President. She saw a chance to be in the limelight, and dressed it up to be God''s devine intervention, when in reality it was just the RNC who saw her as a Stepford VP candidate that they could dress up and hard-wire with negative rhetoric that excites the extreme religious right to thoughts of un-americanism and more fear of terrorism.

- Hey Scott,
How about a piece on how the liberal media has stretched, and stretched, and stretched and omitted, and omitted, and omitted the facts on Palin to paint a false perception of her to the American people..all to promote your liberal agendas.....the American public trust for the mainstream liberal media has been so damaged through out this election process...but it appears to me they don''t really care what mainstream America thinks anyway... - Reply to this comment
- Democrats are hypocrites. They preach peace and unity and then look at how they attack anyone they dislike.
That''s pretty tacky behavior. - Reply to this comment
- Perhaps she stretches the truth, but, maybe, just maybe, she cannot read. Note to Ms. Palin: Have someone read the entire article to you before you start dogging Obama.

- Both McCain and Palin are delusional. On November 4th, voters from the states of Peneus and Alpheus will flush the Republaugean Stables clean of 30 years of accumulated filth and stench.

- Isn''t Elizabeth part of the Media, that she speaks of? She is a Whinner at the highest degree. Young and Inexperience was alive and well at this rally. What was the point? Palin never stick to issues. She is obsessed with Obama. That is all she speaks about. Is that her Platform?

- With as many outright lies that 0bama has told over the past year, and with the factual errors that Biden comes up with, the CBS weenies have a big headline about Palin "stretching the truth".
No wonder CBS News is in last place. - Reply to this comment
- Thank God we only have to see and hear this lying cretin for another 9 days.

- Palin thinks it kind of cute to stretch the truth all the time...wink!...wink! For someone who calls herself a Christian, she appears to have no problem spouting out irresponsible and mean spirited comments, lying or abusing power.

- Palin is being paraded around like a prop and what''''s more insulting is she''''s doing it with a smile and proud. She should be ashamed of herself.

Compare to Rep (R) Michell Bachmann, who lies about Obama and smiles simultaneously on TV. Compare to Sen Dole who lies about opponent Hagan, and smiles on TV.
Both Bachmann and Dole are practiced far-right liars. Both call good people evil names, appealing to the uneducated. Bachmann did it on FOX to good effect but got called on it by MSNBC and now is in free fall and ''apologized'' by lies, claiming she was drawn into it.
She was doing the same talking points as usual, for her and Dole and Palin. Bachmann just chose the wrong venue for her false claims about opponents. She did the same *Congress is UN-American on MsNBC and regrets it.
VOTE ELWYN Tinklenberg and dump Bachmann. Vote HAGAN and dump DOLE.
YOU BETCHA!! VOTE for all the DEMS and end the Senate filibusters and put all of the Americans back to work. - Reply to this comment
- It is just one week until the election. Palin doesnt have a fully functioning frontal lobe if she really believes her own spew.
It must be meant for the non-college grads who support the GOP. Isnt it interesting that more non-college grads support Palin and the GOP but more college grads, who are trained and ABLE to think, consider, ponder and look into things in detailed analysis, prefer Obama by a wide margin?!
We see also, that many highly educated conservatives of the GOP have abandoned Palin for Obama. - Reply to this comment
- I wonder if the current personnel investigation into Palin''s abuses of power will be finished this week.

- "Stretching the truth"...that''s being kind. Once she hit the national stage, Sarah Palin has been lying to the American public every time she opened her mouth.
Perhaps that''s why the Anchorage Daily News, Alaska''s largest Pullitzer prize-winning newspaper, today endorsed Obama/Biden and NOT their own governor.
But then, their governor has recently been found guilty of ethics abuse, falsifying her expense reports to get Alaskans to pay $22,000 for her kids to travel to events they weren''t invited to, double dip with her $17,000 per diems, underreport her tax returns, etc. etc....? - Reply to this comment
- So what''s wrong with drafting your speech in advance? Personally I like the idea of a leader who plans ahead. Maybe we wouldn''t be stuck in Iraq with no exit strategy if we had more leaders who did that.

- I don''t see how this is "stretching facts" as anyone with eyes can see that Obama has walked around from Day 1 as if he''d already won the election. Pompous, presumptuous, cocky, arrogant are just some of the words that come to mind when describing this man. Be careful what you wish/vote for America - you just might get it.

- I am so happy to see so many women speak the truth about this Palin person. For a while there, I was really scared. I really thought something was wrong with me, what did everyone else see that I did not see? Thank God the women of America (most of us anyway) have seen her now for what she really is. And thanks to Katie for getting it started - you rock!!
Even worse than her latest garbage was her racist "Pro-America" speech in which she tells the people of a small town that they are the "real" Americans. I was shocked. How dare she imply that we are not all Americans. It was another Bush-like attempt to seperate us yet again.
I am from a small town in Missouri and I hope that all my fellow Americans in cities large & small know that she does not speak for us!
How could she and all the fools listening to her forget so soon the courage and unbreakable spirit of our fellow Americans in NYC on 9/11? What an insult!
Women have worked so hard and sacrificed so much to get where we are - we will not have this loony tunes lady drag us backwards a hundred years!
I cannot wait until she is gone!
So long Alaska Disasta! - Reply to this comment
- Choosing Palin as his VP nominee proved to anyone watching that John McCain is capable of DOING the IMPOSSIBLE.
How did he prove that, you ask?
By picking Palin, McCain found someone who could actually be a MUCH WORSE President than George W. Bush.
Given the current state of the economy, and W''s record low approval ratings, this feat certainly seemed impossible....and yet, McCain accomplished it!!
It''s unbelievable......McCain CAN do the impossible...it is a proven fact. - Reply to this comment
