WAKE UP AMERICA. Simple fact is nothing - NOTHING trickles up.
Using the Democrats own agenda got us in this financial crisis.
Watch the Senate hearings anywhere you can - the likes of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and many other Dems - pushing hard to provide sub-prime loans to their voter base and stuff their pockets at the same time ignoring Republican warnings. Obama has done plenty of stuffing in his short time in the Senate. These are people with one concern - expand the voter base - buy the votes - create a class of people totally dependent on government from cradle to grave.
AMERICA WAKE UP - the media should be presenting the danger in electing Barack Obama - danger to our homeland and our position of strength in the world. If the world does not care for us - it certainly is not because we have turned our back on anyone in need at any time in our history.
We have to keep our country strong on all levels - redistribution of wealth is the first step to weakening the USA from the inside at the core of what makes us tick.
Obama has so much baggage - so much - that is completely ignored by the media - and if elected -"we the people" are doomed.
OBAMA/BIDEN/PELOSI/REID/FRANK/DODD AND ACORN - recipe for disaster on all levels. And who knows - Ayers and Wright in the White House.

I do respect your opinions, more than any others I read in these blogs, because you are authentic. I wish that our TV would show war in ALL of its ugliness, and stop pampering the American Public.

cactus boy, I don''t have a problem. I pay no attention to meaningless polls. I have complete confidence in the inherent goodness of the American people and free market capitalism. I despise social democrats and all other forms of socialism. I believe in our constitution and bill of rights. I work everyday in spite of disabilities to support my family. I, as a Christian, know my God. I also recognise evil when I see it and I see it in the Democrat ticket. It is plain to see that Balack is a black nazi. Open you eyes and you will see it, too. More important than that, open your heart and accept Jesus the Christ, who paid the price for your sin. Turn away from the world and it''s evil. Embrace the way of the cross. God bless you.

cacatua08: Sir, Obama voted for the bailout as well. The democrats are pushing a 150 billion dollar stimilus package that they wanted signed off before they broke for vacation - so we can go out and spend it and fuel the economy.
None of the candidates are perfect but I''m not willing to take a chance on Obama with no experience but a Community Organizer and for those that say Sarah Palin has no experience is very foolish - to give no credit for being a governor. She has not been treated fairly by the MSM nor has McCain and anyone that disagrees are lieing to themselves..
Again; It isn''t just about the economy - there''s a bigger picture lurking out there..

I realize folks back home are suffering but so many have forgetten about 9/11 and the lives lost because we let our guard down. Now is not the time to put some one in office that has no military experience. Why do you think our election is so important to the Middle East and other countries that hate us? They are hoping Obama wins because they don''t want to talk to us. If anyone in the states had ever seen the videos shown on Al Jazzera of beheadings of Americans and those that supported us - they''d know what I''m talking about..Being naive is going to be our downfall. We will get thru the tough times but not buy forcing people to close down their businesses and costing people jobs -it will be years before there''s ever a full recovery.

After 9/11, Bush told everyone to go shopping. I don''t think that Obama has done that. I know that conditions you have seen over there must make even the poorest Americans look rich, but in context, there are Americans here who work like dogs and still can''t afford health care, and have to go to food banks to make ends meet. It isn''t like they are going out and having a whee of a time shopping.

And John McCain also supported the Wall Street bail-out. We are retired and we have lost a hunk of our retirement fund in this financial mess, and we are cutting back to bare-bones subsistance until things get better.
