Lisa459: Yes, the economy is important but I''m here in Iraq and ANYONE that is naive enough to think that we shouldn''t be worried about our national security has a real problem. What time people are waiting for Obama to spread the wealth and making dates to run to the mall to spend their extra money - the bad guys will know we''re so distracted they''ll blow us off the face of the earth.
The President''s job is "Commander In Chief" - not Greenspan Jr for God''s sake. The rest of the world laughs at us becasue we''re so self-absorbed we can''t see beyond our new house and car and vacations we can''t afford.
People better get a grip - this is serious stuff.. Obama is so narsistic he thinks the rest of the world is ga ga over him too, no, he''s a setting duck and so are we.
Your democrats pushed thru a 850 billion dollar bailout bill - that should make you warm and fuzzy..

Velma you missed the point. The operative words spoken by Biden were .... it''s not going to be apparent that we''re right." He was not talking about the crisis he''s talking about their response. Whatever the crisis is we are not going to like what they do. To be safe, vote McCain-Palin

dogpatch,
Wonderful, another right-to-lifer! The country is going to hell in a handbasket and some people still care more about gay marriage and doing away with abortion!

Be careful when you go home that your mother doesn''t run out from under the porch and bite you!

Oh, it just keeps on getting better! The Hill reports that the "police prepare for unrest" on election day. It appear that they fear the danger of riots by disgruntled Obama supporters if he loses or riots by celebrants if he wins. Looks like the American people lose her way.

Please read what the Dept of Homeland Security Chief said yesterday before you make any more comments about Biden''s remarks:

"Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said the U.S. may be vulnerable to a terrorist attack during the next six months, with violent groups more likely to try to take advantage of a new president and administration.

``Any period of transition creates a greater vulnerability, meaning there''s more likelihood of distraction,'''' Chertoff said in an interview. ``You have to be concerned it will create an operational opportunity for terrorists.''''

He said that would be true whether Democrat Barack Obama or Republican John McCain is elected president on Nov. 4. That comment undercuts McCain''s argument that the U.S. would be more in danger of an attack if Obama, 47, wins."

Biden''s dire prediction of an international crisis was not a gaffe. He was admitting that Obama will do something that will not be received well by the American people. Obama is too dangerous to fill the role of commander-in-chief. Biden seems to be covering his own *** by extending a veiled warning. To be safe, vote McCain-Palin!

When Bill and Hillary get in the private voting booth, do you think they will vote for Obama, who tried to make them look racist when they were not? They have to appear one way for the public, but in private I wonder. Also the main news media is so biased for the liberal agenda. I am a white male southerner, I care not that Obama is black, the reason that I will not vote for him, Biden, Hillary or Edwards is their support on abortion. Also gay marriage, civil unions for ***, marriage is between males and females.

Obama needs Biden to keep his mouth shut. Joe let the cat out of the bag this past Sunday. He guaranteed an international crisis within 6 months of Obama''s swearing in. More troubling is that he said Obama''s response to the crisis will not be perceived as "right." America''s allies should be worried. Israels should be really worried.

Joe Biden came up with this great plan to settle the mess in Iraq a year ago. If you know anything about the history of Iraq, it was originally pieced together from three left-over Ottoman vilayets: Mosul, Kurdish (Sunni); Baghdad, Sunni; and Basrah, Shiite.

Now there was talk at the time, after WW1, of using just about exactly the plan that Joe was proposing, though Churchill thought that the Kurds should have their own country as a buffer between the Turks and the Arabs.

But Gertrude Bell had a lot of influence and she was determined to have Sherif Feisal ibn Hussein as king in Iraq, and she got her way. There were more Shiites than Sunis, and she wanted the Kurds , (also Sunnis), to balance out the ratio.

Anyway, Joe''s plan of three states and a federal government was a good one, and that is indeed what is pretty happening over there anyway.

How much more intelligent conversation would you like?

McCain is spewing lies in Iowa. We had all of this flooding this year. The worst was in eastern Iowa around Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. Both campaigns were asked to stay away because things were chaotic and in enough uproar. Obama''s campaign said, "Sure, we''ll stay away until later on when the worst is over." Which they did. McCain barged right in anyway, flood and all.

Now McCain is running robo calls, saying that Obama didn''t think it was important enough to stop and survey the flood damage and offer support like He (McCain) did!

McCain is, and will be a loser.

I used to use intelligent arguments with you right-wingers, but all I got in return was insults - so why bother? If you can''t beat''em..........

Enough of the MSM bias for Obama: Vote with your remote - stop watching the MSM news networks. Don''t turn on the tv for BO''s half hour ad prior to the world series. I switch channel each time BO''s on the screen.

I cannot understand why the main stream media cannot see itself as bias when they refuse to publish sarcastic remarks about a bubble headed comment like this. If Palin had said such a thing they would be feasting and unrelenting repeating words like gravitas and erratic. This is why they are past their prime as 50% of the country sees them for what they are and the other half doesn''t know how to turn on the *** set. Stand up Joe take an interview Oh sorry my God what was I thinking You people write it for him. By the way Katie is such a light weight even with the new hair.

Moosilla is so clueless that she doesn''t even realize that by appearing on SNL she just reinforced everyone''s worst impression of her.

Then we find out that the RNC has spent $150,000 to dress Caribou Barbie! But you can''t make a silk purse out of a sow''s ear - not even with lipstick!!!
