- first of of those 95% of people that will get a tax cut, 33% of them don''''t pay taxes. So they will be making money why we bust our butts for 40-80 hours a week to make a honest living

I am trying to get the logic here... those 33% who "aren''t paying taxes" aren''t making any money... the government just doesn''t take any from them and for good reason. They are still working (probably also "busting their tails for 40+ hours a week) and earning mostly minimum wage and barely scraping by. And you begrudge them a break on their taxes so they can pay for food and shelter, meager as it probably is? What a pig. - Reply to this comment
- Are you serious....you are saying his experience includes running a presidential campaign. That is not experience....what is the experience that he had to make him think and others think that he was good enough to run for president???

Experience is wisdom/knowledge garnered through action. YOu are not asking for Obama''s experience because the present one he is in would be indicative of that--you want his curriculum vitae. correct?
You want to know about him being a teacher of Constitutional law, his time as a community organizer, his 8 years in the Illinois Legislature, his time as a US Senator, all the boards he has served on (including the one with Ayers) correct? To you that is experience. Or do you even know what that word really means? There is no better measurement for how someone will manage than to watch them in action. We saw how HRC did not manage. WE see how McCain does not manage. A campaign is one of the best trial runs you will get.
For McCain--him dispatching people to Alaska, to obstruct/impede an ongoing investigation then instructing people to not honor subpoenas (which the Alaskan Supreme Court ruled the legislature could issue) is all we need to know about his management style. It''s shades of the Cheney/Bush admin wiping the GOP''s azz on the Constitution. NO man is above the law--not even if they have an R by their name. - Reply to this comment

Obama is an educated man. I will take someone who has proven his intellectual ability at premier educational institutions over a man who barely scraped thru and a community college queen any day. So what if he doesn''''t have hands on experience; you don''''t think he can figure it out? What has McCain ever done in an executive branch capacity? Oh, wait, let me answer that for you: NOTHING.

The University or College you go to does not make you intelligent. To prove you wrong...Bush went to Yale. Enough said. - Reply to this comment

I can tell you get all your research from CBS, CNN, ABC, and all the other liberal media outlets. But guess what that stuff is all filtered to conform to their liberal views. Have you ever thought about reading or listening to other sources to get a more accurate view of things. I try to listen to all views because I want to make a well rounded decision about who to elect. If Hilary was nominated I would of possible voted Democratic, but you guys screwed that one up just like we screwed up getting Huck or Romney nominated. - Reply to this comment
- You people amaze me, no one can answer a question.
Posted by ABMan827 at 09:55 AM : Oct 14, 2008
We are not amazed by you. Its not that people do not answer your question, it is that you are too ignorant to know when your question has been answered. and nice try troll--the topic is and remains what a loser Buffoon Palin is--the stalwarts of the REpublican party are jumping ship from Kristol to Krauthammer, to Hitchins, to Wills--they all say McCain is toast and Palin is like the biblical plague with nothing but bad news coming about her. They are saying she is the worst mistake and the only people who still like her are the dregs of the base (the most ignorant and racist) McCain''s support from Republicans is back at 29% LOL That is what picking an unvetted loser will do for you. McCain''s judgment was very poor on this one. - Reply to this comment

DREAM ON. If the ERRATIC FANATIC and his dizzy, airhead sidekick get elected--you won''t have any money. They will take us over the cliff.
had McCain actually been in office right now--he would have first told us everything was sound. Then he would have told us that we faced a crisis not seen since WWII then he would have tried to convene a commission to study the situation. IN the meantimes the markets would have crashed.
Then he would have gotten on tv to demand the resignation of the SEC chief after he found out he could not fire him. Then as we were approaching our last throes--he would have demanded such regulating bodies as the "****" be dismantled. After he found out that the SIPC was NOT a regulating body, he would have tried to put it back then would have decided that all activity in the country be suspended because this was a national disaster. Then he would have sat in a room looking desperately at everyone and hoping they could solve it--back on tv (while we are in soup lines) as he tried to explain why it was all the fault of Fm andFM as if 4% of the Mortgage industry did all of this. On and on--ping ponging and your retirement accts? GONE, banks--money gone, businesses? Bust--and once again the feckless and clueless Republicans would try to be angry at the stupid ********** they put in office. - Reply to this comment

Obama''s tax plan has so many holes in it....first of of those 95% of people that will get a tax cut, 33% of them don''t pay taxes. So they will be making money why we bust our butts for 40-80 hours a week to make a honest living. Thats not the change I am looking for. - Reply to this comment
- And for the record, I am a republican that is not voting for Obama because I don''''t believe in socialism. And I want my hard working money to stay in my pocket, not given to people that chose to be lazy and not make something of themselves. But I guess you all want to be patriotic.

1. What is socialism?
2. How does it differ from communism?
3. How does socialism differ from fascism?
What do you think the significance is of the Federal government taking a stake in investment firms and banks?
What do you think the significance is of McCain suggesting government interference and renegotiation of mortgage loans in the private sector?
What relationship does the recent acts of Bush and the proposed actions of McCain have to do with the idea of socialism?
You must be a Republican who plans to vote for neither Obama or McCain this year--because no matter what--you WILL have a brand of Democratic Socialism. Just like the UK, most of Europe and Canada. ITS ALREADY HAPPENED. - Reply to this comment

- Senator Obama is an expert in recognizing and assimilating the best minds for what he needs to do. He is proficient in assessing problems, trouble shooting and running such a disciplined and tight ship that he achieves optimal results. We can see that in his debating (he gets to the heart of the matter) we can see that in his campaign--best run campaign in history--we can see that in his approach to key issues.

I guess you don''t know Obama/Biden and pretty much ALL POLITICIANS. They ALL LIE.
And for the record, I am a republican that is not voting for Obama because I don''t believe in socialism. - Obama is definitely experienced in communication. He''s talked to all the major European leaders, and he made excellent impressions with them all. Thus he''s streets ahaed on foreign policy. When asked about a phone conversation with Palin, the Georgian President had to stop laughing before he could think of anything to say. The best thing the British papers have had to say is she''s cute, but an idiot. Obama''s showing that he knows a lot about economics; his tax plan would be much more useful to the middle class than Mc.Failin''s prop up the rich tax breaks. Does Mc.Cain even go to church? Falin goes to an Christian Madrassa that invites African witch doctors to cleanse people. Of course Obama has religious problems himself, but at least he realises that religion has no place in politics. Obama''s an acknowledged expert on the Constitution - just try getting out of Harvard Law without being so. Obama''s an expert speaker, Filin''s OK provided she''s taling to her crowd. Mc.Cain is seriously bad. He could put you to sleep reading the Gettysburg address which is both great prose and only two minutes long. Is that enough or do I have to go on?

I gave you the answer--you appear to obtuse to understand. I''ll try a different tact:
Senator Obama is an expert in recognizing and assimilating the best minds for what he needs to do. He is proficient in assessing problems, trouble shooting and running such a disciplined and tight ship that he achieves optimal results. We can see that in his debating (he gets to the heart of the matter) we can see that in his campaign--best run campaign in history--we can see that in his approach to key issues.
The problem McCain and others have is that they have been in office a long time--but that has not translated into real experience. After 26 years in government and in Foreign policy, McCain still does not know geography? Not who we are fighting, who is allied with who, where Afghan. is, that Czech. no longer exists? That Al Qaeda is not trained by Iran? He is erratic but worst of all--he exercises poor judgement. His pingpong approach to the economy proved that--from a "sound" econ. to crisis, to one bad solution after another--he panicked. it showed. So Obama is an expert at recognizing, assembling and managing expertise--and inspiring them and others by keeping a cool head--a natural leader--not made by time--but by predilection. Do you think you can understand this? LOL - Reply to this comment

- 4. He has managed to surround himself with a highly disciplined, organized and savvy network of thinkers and doers. So that if he does not know--we expect they can come up with an answer.
