What''''s Sad is it seems both of you don''''t believe that Iraqis are people - When a Repug throws this BS, it''''s in the knowledge that only Americans casualties are the people they''''re referring to but the casualties of this war are several thousand times more than we''''ve been told - especially American Casualties that fail to record the actual casualties of this debacle. Cheers!

You are, of course correct. As far as I''m aware, there are no official figures for Iraqi losses during this debacle, merely vastly varying estimates. I truly hope that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfelt and Wolfowitz can be tried for war crimes in the Hague. I rather doubt it though. These criminals have shown numerous times that they have no respect for US Law, let alone law from a court the US has never recognized.

For all you people that are writing back to me...if you only responded like this guy we would not have to argue. He was straight to the point, knows Obama is not the best candidate but the one that fits his personal views and policies. He did not quote various sources to make his point.

Reading comprehension is a beautiful thing. You misread. The poster never said Obama was not the best candidate--he said he was not happy with Obama''s experience. But at no point did he imply or even infer that McCain was a better candidate. We must consider the candidates to be McCain/Palin and Obama/Biden.

Say we need bananas. Neither team are bananas. McCain is a rotten apple and Palin is his worm--so we don''t want them.

Maybe to that poster, Obama is a plantain (which is a type of banana but not sweet) and Biden is an apricot. Maybe he figures he can mix the plantain with the apricot and get a flavor nearer to banana than mixing a rotten apple and a worm.

Know what you are reading--when someone is not happy with their choice--it does not mean that other choices are better--it often means there were no good choices and the best of the choices--still makes them not so happy.

We know this would be a lot for you to assimilate--take your time.

Signing off now... hope that those of you asking about Obama''''s experience were able to read my posts (3 posts talking about some of legislative acts in US Senate and IL Senate). Hope that I''''ve been helpful as you cast your ballot. Cheers.

Thank you for actually posting legitimate responses. I have not read them all, but I will read and do my personal research.

You said he can communicate and then you bashed Palil and McCain, not sure how those were good answers.

Says the person from the party who is trying to win the Presidency on smears because they have no plans except to win and continue to defile the Constitution and the offices they hold.

Give me a break...like Obama has been so innocent in this campaign. You people can sure dish it out, but you can''t take it.

Not several thousands times more--according to almost every source but Bush, the number of Iraqi casualties is over a million, but even on the conservative side, it would be hundreds of thousands not several.

Even if he fails--the set up is already there to still blame this on the Republicans

Posted by harbinger09 at 10:54 AM : Oct 14, 2008

And you are already looking to blame the Republicans...gotta love it.

Obviously I believe Iraqis are people. The stat was about American casualties, so I responded to American casualties.

I''''''''m not happy with Obama''''''''s experience, at all. I supported Richardson in the primaries. However, I don''''''''t just vote for whoever has the most experince, I vote based on policy, and my policies line up with Obamas more then McCains.
