To SDQueen 2000 who claims: "I now know as a FACT that Obama campaign paid and non-paid volunteers are monitoring ALL the WWW news sites and boards and in force posting pre-prepared Pro-Obama / Anti-McCain/Palin comments."
My response to you is this: Perhaps that is why the comments I''ve read on the Internet news sites that speak in support of Obama are so well-reasoned and are so much more articulate, grammatically correct, and free of name-calling and spelling errors than those posted by the random Obama-detractors! Actually, I read these sites extensively and have not encoutered any duplication of pro-Obama responses that appear to be a widely disseminated distribution of canned material. SDQueen2000, if Obama''s message wasn''t so right on target, it wouldn''t who, or how many times anyone posted it. It''s quality, not quantity. If your son is right, then I say this is a clever tactic of a clever campaign to elect an intelligent man. (Or is that a strategy? I always get those confused.)

I can not believe that there is not universal outrage at the tactics that are being used by McCain and Palin to distract the American voter from the real issues. It should frighten us all that so many people still feel that they can in good conscience vote for them. They are acting against everything that USA is supposed to stand for and resorting to fear, hatred and racial biases to obscure the facts. This is exactly what Joe McCarthy did during the anti-red crusades... Smear your opponent with innuendos and accusations! Create a scapegoat! Who cares if Obama sat on a board with Ayers and lots of other Reps and Dems?!!!!! What we should be caring about is who is best going to shepard this county through the economic crisis that we face and will create a society that will allow our children and grandchildren to strive and dream and live happy/productive lives! That is the American dream!

This is getting scary. It won''t be long now before these crowds depart from these rallies and start doing some real damage. McCain and the Republican party need to put a stop to this now. It''s one thing to get passionate about your parties philosophy but it''s quite another to get angry and spout hatred.

Short and sweet, Sarah Palin andher husband ''First Dude'' Palin are TRAITORS of the UNITED states of America. And, since John McCain and Cindy McCain are ''pallin'' around with the Palins, it makes them traitors, too.

Ideologues seem enthralled by symbols in lieu of substance. The Ayers issue isn''t even chump change trivia. If you want real substance, not media hyped distractions, it''s far more effective to simply ''FOLLOW THE MONEY''.

I gree with the comment that mentions failed education. It is going south atleast, and a great example would be the view. The oldewr hosts pioneers in their fields and very well read. The younger two Sherri and Elizabeth unbeleivably dumb. Elizabeth especially is a re run of the Fox Channel.

As we get closer and closer to the election Palin and McCain are seeming to get more desperate. I don''t think that any TRUE Reoublican (of which I am, except for this campaign) can accept what they are saying.

This is divisive and counterproductive to our nation, our standing in the world and our ability to get out of the crisis which grips this nation, namely DEBT, whether government or personal.

We have become a nation of LOUTS, quick to borrow and quick to blame, not accepting the responsibility of our actions and this extends to giving a pass to the Republican party for the WASTE of the last 8 years.

We aren''t a safer nation, we aren''t greeted as liberators or defenders of Freedom (see Iraq, Pakistan etc). All the things we were told by Bush have come back to haunt us, hollow jingoistic posturing has put us in a hole we will spend YEARS digging out of.

I want a WHOLESALE change of the Republican party if they expect to get my vote ever again, voting democrat may make them see the light, if not, how worse can it really get?
