- Palin says, "So when you talk though about what it is that we are proposing. . ."
WHAT is it that she''s proposing. I have yet to here any specifics. She comes across demogogue-like, with only generalities of what they''d like to see happen. No action plan at all. - Reply to this comment
- Palin thinks this is some type of beauty contest - talking in slang - as if theat is cool or something. That is only cool when you can first prove that you can talk without the slang. She has not proven that yet. And no cameras for the press conference. The media should just not get on the plane at all until she is a real open book. She could be president folks and we don''t know anything about her.

- How honorable is it to incite crowds to yell out "kill him"? Palin is repulsive and disgusting. Go back to Alaska where you will hopefully be forgotten or impeached.

- Watch her approval numbers plummet along with her lowly smear campaign. New, refreshing? Hardly. The same old divisive politics that most of us independents and democrats are sick of. McCain/Palin: Bad campaigning, bad for America

- Who cares? The only interest she has is from the core conservative republicans. They can have her. She''s yesterday''s news -- the kind of news headlines that are worthy of putting on the floor for breaking in that new puppy.

- Palin, get a backbone and stop being McBush''s flunky. You are making all us women look bad. If you had a clue what was going on in our great country, it would be one thing but you don''t and never will unless you get smart and look at the facts. You are nothing but a puppet to do McBush''s dirty work for him so he doesn''t look bad.

- When she was asked about the threat to polar bears from global warming, Sarah Palin said that they`d adapt to no snow.
So, she isn`t a creationist, she believes in evolution. - Reply to this comment
- I''m have voted Republican, since 1979 when I was 18 years old. But will admit I wanted McCain in 2000, and I did not vote for Bush, because he made a mess in Texas as Governor.
Early I decided to support Sen. Obama, but when Sen Mccain was in the picture I decided to have an open mind about my vote. Well McCain has done a 180 turn.
The problem is Gov. Palin, she seems nice and she had a future in Politics till now. She has all you want in a running , but what Sen McCain has done to her, wow, will damage her for life in politics. She doing all the dirty work for the party, she a pasty for the party and she will be blame for the lost.
Sen McCain again has shown his disrepect for women like always. That in itself has turn me off. I don''t think people really care if she knew about the issues and Washington, please don''t let her out and dry. You pick her and it''s your job to support her and stand by her. You can''t blame anyone else, it was your choice.
Again I will support Sen Obama, and hope that he can bring our country together. I believe as Americans it an honest for us to
elect the best person, without looking a race as an issue. I believe the best is yet to come, and Sen Obama, might be the person bring unity to a country that''s broken in rich or poor, dumb or smart, red or blue, white, latino, asian or black. We are one and unity we stand and fall.
With that said God Bless America and may the next President bring America to being the Best Place on Earth to live. - Reply to this comment
- %u201CWell, Americans are caring about the problems in the economy, of course, and wanting to know what those long-term solutions are that our ticket can provide and what the other ticket is proposing,%u201D Palin said. %u201CSo when you talk though about what it is that we are proposing and what it is that Barack Obama is proposing, again it is relevant to connect that association that he has with Ayers, not so much he as a person%u2014Ayers%u2014but the whole situation and the truthfulness and the judgment there that you must question if again he''s not being forthright in all of his answers as to how did you know him, when did you know him, why would you continue to be associated with him?%u201D
--------------------------
Can some kind soul translate this gibberish? I looked up Bill Ayers. In his youth he did stupid things such as belong to a militant organization. later on, he turned himself in but for some reason never prosecuted. The US Attorney never said why not. Today, he is a full professor, serves on many civic boards, is sought after by GOP, Democrats, etc for his advice on education. Who would not want to be associated with someone like this? - Reply to this comment
- ALASKA GOVERNOR Palin = RECALL!!!
I am a Alaskan life voting Republican. This 2008 Election, I will [with pleasure] vote Democrat! This Alaska Governor has Destroyed and continues to attempt to Destroy "MANY GOOD ALASKAN PEOPLE(s) Professionally and Politically during her "VERY SHORT" term position as Mayor in a small community Wasilla, Ak (Approx 5,000 + residents during her reign) and current Alaska State Governor.(of approx. twenty months). Whenever Palin is confronted with a question that she does not know, does not have a clue or simply does not want to answer, her indignation which turns to...ANGER...is unquestionably familiar!......McCains'''' V.P. selection Sarah Palin unequivocally has NO business being the Alaska Governor, let alone, a USA candidate for Vice President.... Maverick??..... ****AMERICA SHOULD BE FEARFULLY CONCERNED****. I voted for Sarah Palin in Alaskas 2006 Governor Election. MISTAKE!.... Never Again%u2026 I repeat-NEVER AGAIN!!...Alaska Governor Palin is an absolute Embarrassment to the Alaska People(s) and "IS" proven to be an insatiable Liar!! How can she possibly ASSUME the to possess the ability to clean up America, when she cannot clean the ''MESS" she has created in Alaska. Yes,--- A Mess FOR Alaskans to Clean-Up!!!!!!............ MCCAIN, you should be ASHAMED of yourself!!!! This victim (palin)has no business in this Presidential Arena.

- Sarah Palin is Mccains flunky. They don''t even inform her of what decisions their making. They just tell her what to say and send her own her way to say it.

- Now the Mccain campaign can let Palin give interviews and answer questions from the press because they want her to talk about her attacks against Obama. Palin wasn''t allowed to speak to the press and limited interviews when they wanted her to answer questions. Hillary Clinton put 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling and Palin has set woman back 50 years. The Mccain campaign controls every aspect of Sarah Palin. They tell her what to say when to say it and how to say it. How can Sarah Palin fight for Americans when she can''t even stand up for herself. Sarah Palin is an embarrashment to all women.

- How often does Barack talk to the press at the back of the plane?
Because Amy Holmes made a really interesting point about the ''Obama Doctrine'' in practice not including the people of Iraq since Barack wanted to get troops out rather than ''surge'' them in.
She then asks (in light of the fact that Barack has as a chief component of his foreign policy platform to withdraw from Iraq), what''s our moral responsibility to Iraqis in the case that withdrawal goes bad?
Does Barack even talk to the press? If so does he ever answer questions like that directly or does he still stick to the answer that he''s for withdrawal AND he''s for a leaving peace behind and that everything''s going to go great? - Reply to this comment
- Good news, folks. It seems like Sarah Palin and her handler, John McCain, will be doing another interview on Faux news with Sean "I get a woody everytime I see Sarah Palin" Hannity. We can all look forward to some real independent, hard-hittin'', no "gotcha" journalism.

- It is sickening to see grown men and women falling all over themselves just because an idiot like Sarah Palin deigns to grant them an audience. You, who are on the plane with her, reporting her every move and speech should boycott her plane--not doing so make you complicit in her hate mongering, lies and fomenting violence against Barack. Leave her plane, refuse to cover her campaign. Have some dignity.

- Well,I do hope that Sarah Palin''s answer is "laser-accurate on target" when the mainstream media question her and her husband''s un-American activities. Her husband, Todd Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party (AIP) from 1995-2002. The AIP want Alaska to SECEED from the United States. AIP founder JOE VOGLER has stated " I''m an Alaskan, NOT AN AMERICAN." I''ve got no use for America or her damned institutions. The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared TO MY HATRED FOR THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT. And, I won''t be buried under her damned flag." In 1993, Vogler was to appear to the United Nations to denounce United states "tyranny" and had persuaded the GOVERNMENT OF IRAN TO SPONSOR HIS ANTI-AMERICAN TIRADE. In 2008, Governor Sarah Palin addressed the AIP convention and said " keep up the good work and god bless you." Sarah Palin has been ''sleeping with the enemy''."Poor judgement" and "guilt by association" are the least of her worries.
