- You people who somehow think using middle names make somebody a racist, grow up. I was at the rally and if you watch this on you tube you would see too, there was no inuindo it was normal talk from a sheriff who is liked by this whole county hint he just won by 90% when or if Barrack HUSSEIN Obama get inagurated he will have to use his middle name. As far as him being in uniform that might of been legaly wrong but he was voted in office as a republican. In my eyes this is not bad. Im sure half of you prob. most of you have slandered racial comments yourself so quit be a cry baby like Barrack HUSSEIN Obama and get a pair.

- Dear Commissioner Janes,
I am a District 1 property owner. I won''t give my name or address for fear of reprisal on the part of your County"s Sheriff''s Office.
I am writing to ask: Is there any or statute in Lee County law which forbids a uniformed, elected county official from participating in the campaign of a political candidate while wearing the uniform of his/her office?
I''m referring, of course, to your Sheriff, Mr. Mike Scott.
To hear the Sheriff of Lee County in a public forum commit such a blatant and low-minded slur, while implying that Lee County was condoning his actions, sent chills down my spine. The words Nazi and Fascist leaped uninvited into my mind.
I''d be shocked that a sound-minded, publicly-elected official in Mr. Scott''s position of responsibility would have the arrogance to behave in this manner, unless he believed that the majority of his constituents felt similarly, and that the County government would not object. I hadn''t realized the extent to which the pre-Civil Rights, Southern Racist Culture was alive and well in Lee County. It''s one thing to hold beliefs of this sort, but for the Lee County Sheriff to use the uniform of the office that represents the rule of law in Lee County to incite and inflame a crowd of co-believers toward an obviously racially- or cultural-bigotry-inspired vote against a person of color makes your County seem very unappealing to investors like myself.

- The sheriff should not been allowed to take part in a political rally while in uniform. Since when have civil servants been allowed to do so while on duty. Remind me not to go to Lee County!

- For those of you not from Lee County, Florida, this sheriff did not run his recent campaign as Mike Joseph Scott...just Mike Scott. He claims he was just using the senator''s full name, yet he doesn''t call himself by his full name. Hmmm.

- Most of the people in this blog have lost their mnds and are under the "spell" of Liberal America. The Barack Hussein Obama campaign has shoved this idiot (Major league idiot) down the throats of America via their ally, the media. This Sheriff can do WHATEVER he WANTS to do as an ELECTED official! The fact you are intoxicatd by Barack Hussein Obama and blaming everything in the world on the current president, clearly means you are ignorant. The Democrats are as responsible as the president. They voted in a MAJORITY for the WAR.....they had their hands on the financial pulse. And if McCain wins this election, don''t be surprised by the crying and ranting. Remember....this is the SAME nation that RE-elected an unpopular president durig an unpopular war less than 4 years ago. McCain will win 278 to 260 electoral votes. Because Obama is a used car saesman....and some of ou people fell for it just like Bush and Congress fell for the CIA''s WMD "intelligence". Get ready for it.

- I think using Barrack Hussein Obama''s middle name is entirely appropriate. I''m really not sure what the problem is. If he is ashamed of his middle name, he could have gone to court, as many Americans do, to have his name changed. He seems to have found the time to seal all of his other records.
