to kittnluver:

You said: His name is Barack Hussein Obama. Hussein is his middle name. It''''s a fact. Why is it that these news channels jump on something like this in his defense, when they are constantly attacking McCain and Palin. It''''s ridiculous.

Because it''s meant to scare people. Do you hear the Obama campaign emphasizing the middle names of the GOP: "John SIDNEY McCain" or "Sarah LOUISE Palin?" And do the GOP mention Joe Biden''s middle name? The answer, of course, to all three candidates with good ole ''Merican sounding names is no.

You want to talk gestapo?
Then look at what The Glorious Leader Obama was trying to do in Missouri by using law enforcement to intimidate anyone running an ant-Obama ad with threats of lawsuits.
Try that for gestapo tactics.

the GOP is turning gestapo.

You are supposed to quake in fear, and hate everyone ane everything because this hate-crazed woman palin tells you to. She is so full of hatred and venom and fearmongering that she will stop at nothing for power. What a shocking and repulsive set of values she has. Is this going to infect the whole GOP? aren;t there some decent people in GOP who are going to say something before she defames and destroys your party?

Look at the polls---people DESPISE THE GOP TICKET. PALIN DID IT HER WAY, DIDN''T SHE? SHE IS TAKING MCCAIN DOWN, AND RUNNING THE SHOW JUST THE WAY SHE WANTS TO.

mccain/palin are HATE
Obama is HOPE

In response to kittnlover, of course it''s his middle name, but he generally doesn''t use it so when people use it they are simply bringing it up to highlight his alleged muslim roots. When George Bush''s father was running for President, his campaign referred to one of his challengers as ''Pierre du Pont'', which was his full name but he went by ''Pete''. It''s as if we all referred to McCain as John Sidney McCain in an attempt to feminize him because Sidney is a girls'' name now.

America is in a crisis and what do we get from Palin and McCain''s campaign?

Nothing but trash.

We need jobs, not trash.
We need healthcare, not trash.
We need our retirement funds, not trash.

McCAIN has LOST ALL HONOR.

They want to sling SLIME then wash their hands of it.

What is the net effect? They get their hits in, then say "oh, we did not mean it." Meanwhile, the media covers the "hussein" story and the Republicans get the slime spread out through the country.

What the Republicans think is their strength (name calling), is actually why they are losing membership.

That loud mouthed rude woman is completely inappropriate. The Republicans are scraping the bottom of the barrel in an attempt to deflect attention away from their dismal results at running our government.

recall governor Palin...

This idiot is a Florida "LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER"? He clearly has bigotry problems. I wonder what he calls his Hispanic residents? His black residents? His Jewish residents?

I hope Floridians kick this guys azz out.

Scare tactics all over again. Ooooh, his middle name is the same as that dead guy from I-Rack. Oooh, he must be a bad guy. For a party who need independents to win this election, they sure are resorting to tactics that independent voters (and many Dems and Repubs alike) loathe. Way to go.

The scary thing is that there are people that actually cheer for this garbage. We have huge problems in this country and this is what we get.

Republicans: Stuck in 3rd grade name calling.

Remember the people who used to make fun of your elementary school classmates who had funny names (or names they could twist into something funny)?

They all became Republican political "strategists" for Bush and McCain.
