- Yesterday Palin said Obama had terrorist pals. OK, ex-terrorist pals. What is an issue here is that Obama clearly lied to the nation about his relationship with Ayers in an effort to distance himself Ayers, but when Ayers hosts a campaign event for Obama that is hardly a man who is "just another guy in the neighborhood."
The truth is facts indicate that Ayers and Obama have had a close working relationship related to the failed Chicago Annenberg Challenge where Obama was chairman and Ayer''s hosting of campaign fund raisers for Obama.
Honesty is the issue and Obama''s performance with the Annenburg project and his true relationship with Ayers, but on a recent Chicago radio talk about Annenburg the Obama campaign refused to participate except to e-mail activate the bloggers and callers to suppress the interviews.
What all the associations and friendships Obama has had do, is paint a picture of the values and beliefs that Obama may hold, since he won''t tell us himself. These are long term friendships with individuals holding radical views, some who have been convicted of illegal deeds, and who have supported Obama financially. How can Obama simply dismiss these people as being insignificant to his life and to who he is today.
Who is Barrack Obama? In depth looks at Barrack Hussein Obama''s long term relationships and mentors is critically important. But who will do it? The Times glossed over the Ayers story. There is much more there, but who will tell - Reply to this comment

- Bill Ayers and a Barack Obama connection.
Chicago has a tradition for bomb makers beginning with the Haymarket affair bomb that killed 7 police officers in 1886. The bomb was thrown during a May Day rally for striking workers. There is a statue in Haymarket Square marking the place of the bombings.
A Chicago native the Unabomber is now serving a life sentence at SuperMax Federal Penitentiary in Florence Colorado for killing three people with mail bombs. The Unabomber Ted Kazinski grew up in the Chicago area, graduated from Harvard University before getting his PhD in mathematics from the University of Michigan, and then taught at U.C. at Berkley. The Unabomber received his moniker by targeting universities and airlines. Ted Kazinski later targeted professors at Northwestern University in Chicago and a United Airlines President with his bomb packages.
Bill Ayers the Weatherman bomb maker is two years younger than Ted Kaczynski the Unabomber, but both have Chicago connections and both received degrees from the University of Michigan about the same time. Bill Ayers received an undergraduate degree in American studies and Ted Kazinski received his Phd in mathematics from the University of Michigan a year earlier than Bill Ayers%u2019s undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Bill Ayers went on to get his Masters in teaching at Columbia in 1987. - Reply to this comment

- I call what Palin is doing is educating us about Obama. America needs to wake up and see him for what he is. A few of his influences....Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers, Michael Pfleger. Go educate yourself before you vote for Obama! If he becomes president, Lord help us. Palin is smart, full of zest and ready to work for our country. She will be beside a wonderful man that so many think is going to the grave, unreal! With both of them side by side, I see great things finally happening.
To all USA citizens: Its so easy to make a choice in November and here we are discussing foolish. Which candidate has an American name? which candidate is Christian and which is Muslim? Who is a living American hero and who is an irresponsible who criticizes without presenting solutions for our problems . Just think about it and you"ll have the next President of the United States. - Reply to this comment
- There is no low too low for the scumbag Rethuglicans to stoop to.
Palin is disgrace and an embarassment to all of America.
The sooner we get these low-life out of leadership positions in our country the sooner we can attempt to regain the dignity they''ve so wantonly discarded.

- When you consider which voters that
they are trying to reach with this stuff, the relatively uneducated,
there IS a chance it will stick.
And now when you consider that the
reason for urgency in passing the
bailout, after now hearing that the
the success of the bailout depends
on the housing situation improving
which will take MONTHS, may have been exactly for this,,, to allow McCain to have a couple more weeks to throw this stuff at these people.
I hope Obama had something in mind as "absurd" as this to re-attack with when running around convincing others to quickly pass the bailout.
If this "terrorist connection" DOES
resonate with enough "voters" to narrow the gap I hope his PLAN is
NOT to spend time trying to defend
himself or disprove it because that is precisely what the McCain campaign is counting on.
Obama in the face of a "successful"
terrorist connection will have to join the new presidential war games by ATTACKING with something a step MORE "ridiculous?",,like,,
McCain at a time back visited the land of paedephilia ?,,,"S3x" always trumps your opponent''s stratedgy.
But "attack" will have to be the answer, not the waste of time plus
the image of "crawling" that defending yourself presents. - Reply to this comment

- Hey, pull up that picture of Pres. Bu$h *holding hands* with that Saudi towel head. Think back to whre the 19 perps of 9/11 came from? Right. Saudi Arabia.
Republicans think nothing of getting cozy with terrorists if there is profit involved. After all, Ronald Reagan put up the dough to TRAIN BIN LADEN!!!!!!!!!

You"re an uniformed idiot. Those Saudis involved on the 9/11 plotting were renegade, they were wanted in Saudi Arabia and couldnt even return to their country. Mostly Saudis are US friends. Jerk. - Reply to this comment
- The McCain campaign is shameless. It is interesting that Mr. McCain claims he is a man of honor and truth; this divisive tactic is clearly rooted in lies.
As for Palin''s comment regarding the (misquoted) Madeleine Albright quote: it is insulting and ridiculous. I am a woman and to vote for Sarah Palin solely considering her gender and not taking into account her incompetence would be completely irresponsible. In fact, it sets women back decades. I find it offensive.
I hope to God "Maverick Barbie" returns to Alaska soon - permanently. - Reply to this comment
