- I suppose being a governor from Arkansas or Georgia would make her more qualified.

- Everything you want to know...and perhaps didn''t want to know about Palin can be found here at http://dailysource.org/palin. From there you can determine if Palin is a credible nominee for office or a mere puppet in the game of politics.

- Well, I think Palin''s Russian proximity is very important. I actually spent time in the Old USSR drinking local vodka at the Hotel Helin in Leningrad. Thusly I acquired a great insight into international affairs. Also, I once ate a moose burger. I''m more than ready to be VP.

- I wish they''d more fully define "briefing". Is she taken down into the bowels of a top secret NORAD base deep beneath the Arctic Circle with her high-level security clearance? Or does it mean she gets a memo with her daily gubernatorial paperwork and she stamps "Yup, al-righty then!" on it?

- As a kid off Long Island we were near the Soviet fishing trawlers-if she needs help with the Russians maybe she should call me-I really saw them.

Back in the 80s, every time the navy ship I was stationed on pulled out of San Diego, we had a Russian AGI (fishing trawler) shadow us. - Reply to this comment
- My home state of Wisconsin has several trade deals with foreign countries. Our farmers need these deals.
Unlike Palin, in Alaska, the Wisconsin Governor has been on several of these trade missions.
This is true of many farming states, many mining state, many energy states. What has Palin been doing during her tenure as Governor? - Reply to this comment
- How pathetic. U.S. and Russian air forces do not like to admit it, but they test each other all the time. Like a Governor and her National Guard are going to make a difference. A joke, again, about Dan Quayle in drag.

- Why don''t she just grab her moose hunting gun and shoot it down from her front porch?

- WHAT!? B.S.!
Knowing how the public thinks she lacks experience, and knowing how they need to make it appear as if she competent, if she HAD been getting briefed about Russian flight activity, they would have INSTANTLY made it a SOUND BITE!
They did NOT! Because she WAS NOT so informed! This is being made up AFTER THE FACT! Another LIE! - Reply to this comment

- Mr. jcow2,
Your military background impressed me. So Palin meant that not Putin but his military jets coming into US airspace.. It''s even worse. So military jets relate to foreign policy experience? Is it possible to see them ? From the porch or from the road to nowhere? How you and Sarah distinct them from aliens? Juno is about thousand miles away from Russia! Now I understand why Sarah recently said that we may need to attack Russia in Georgia. It''s punishment for bothering Palin at the morning.

- I was shocked when she brought up Russia. My first thought was. Lady we do not want to shake Russia right now. Palin need to know, what to say and what not to say. Open mouth, insert foot.

- Please read this again and you may understand.
Thank-you to whoever posted this.
"I believe her comment about Putin raising his head was not referencing his personal travel but rather his military jets coming into US airspace. This statement was clear to me but perhaps my military background made it clear but might have left it confusing to others. In addition military briefings are often confidential in their content but not in their existence. I might have briefed a Senator or Congressman on confidential information but the Member of Congress would be free to say publicly he/she received that brief." - Reply to this comment
- Palin Was Briefed On Russian Jet Incursion. And The Legend Continues....
According to Top Secret documents uncovered by CBSNews; S.Palin recalls that one day as a young girl of 8 yrs old growing up in Alaska she out with her faithful /totally blind 2 legged dog(Bullet)
and her powerful moose framed slingshot with caribou sinew, once disabled 6 no 8 Russian jets with frozen polar bear dung pellets. Dazed/Grazed by enemy fire, little Sarah miracuously crawled 300 miles to the local watering hole and survived. During this investigation into the truth 78 yr. old/grizzled native Alaskan, Wasilia Joe replied that the story was all a lie/was immediately /severely pummeled by faithful towns people. - Reply to this comment
- Guys, do not argue. Republicans will always support that Palin foreign policy experience improve much by seeing Putin in the plane in the sky!!
By the way the Russian region named Chukotka borders Alaska across Bering Strait. But this is the most northeasterly region of Russia and from Moscow it''s further than Washington DC. The region is huge (almost half of Alaska) but population is only about 54,000. Say that Putin can fly over Alaska is the same as say that our president go to Germany or Sweden through Denali park or North Pole. Not all people of course have to know geography so well but Alaska governor and vice-president candidate must. - Reply to this comment
- McCain graduated not in the bottom 5% of his class but fifth from the bottom - 894th out of 898 !!! It could be much better if he never attend a school at all. I mean high school because even republicans think that elementary school is needed for president. Unfortunately they are not so strict about vice-president education.
