- USA-No1.....There is a subject that they teach in schools called "history." It deals with past events. You must not be familiar with it. Let me give you an example. Way back in the 1980''s, and before, there were regulations in place that were there to protect the public. They worked pretty well. Then a man named Reagan was elected president and he believed that regulations were bad for business. So he started de-regulating everything. He believed that the richer the rich got the more they would invest and it would "trickle down" to the middle class. It didn''t work but the regulations were NOT reinstated. As time passed the republican party gained total control and they worked hard to de-regulate even more things. Flash forward to today. Because of deregulation, the economy has been raped by the wealthy because they could. Blaming the democrats for the current situation is absurd. Study history and inform yourself before you come on here and show your ignorance. You''ll look better.
