- uhmmmm...Govenors of any state do not control their National Guard units if they are deployed for National reasons. She does not scramble jets to intercept anything. There is no reason to notify her of any jets flying in US airspace. She can deploy the NG to shoot the moose that is tying up traffic in downtown (is there one) Wasilla. Or she could do it herself. Time for her to go home and face the charges.

This may rock your worl considering your ability to understand things appears to be as broad as Limpdog, but there''s this whole thing about enought to bring to a vote, veto proof, filabuster, etc. The frustration with Congress stems fromt he fact Dems were put into a slight majority to stop W bad policies. The unfortunate thing is they need 60 votes. It seems most people are as ignorant as you and don''t understand the rules. - Note that Palin was only briefed... nothing more. Futhermore the jets scrambled were USAF -- NOT Air National Guard. In other words she was told about it rather than just reading it in the newspapers like the rest of it.
