- Truthfully the bottom line is that anyone who votes for McCain just because Palin is on the ticket is a complete and utter dumba#%^%. Voting for anyone because of their gender, race or color shows how stupid and ignorant you are -- it really makes you look so incredible stupid I cannot even say it enough. I am so ashamed when I hear any female say they will vote for McCain because of Palin ---- it makes me sick to my stomach to realize there was so many dumb@#%^ women out there.

- It%u2019s fairly obvious the Republican Party is relying on voter fraud and hacking the voting machine processes to obtain yet another term for President. Because, it sure isn%u2019t positive ruling government and leadership for the American People that they are presenting!

- The bottom line is the republican camp knows if the press get a free shoot she''s going to show her true colors.
PBS is doing one of those instant online polls to ask "America" if they think Sarah Palin is fit to be Vice President.
The GOP has launched a successful all out blitz to get Republicans to go on the site and click "Yes". As a result right now it looks like 50% of "America" thinks Palin is qualified. The Republicans
are going to be milking this for all its worth in their press efforts.
We need to drive more Democrats and those opposed to Palin to the site to click "NO". Let''s not give the GOP another easy weapon to put in their PR arsenal!
Here''s the link:

You don''t have to enter your email address or anything, just click "NO." - Reply to this comment
- If she can''t stand the heat from the media, and she''s only a candidate-what the hell is she going to do IF her party is elected? Spotlight is a big part of the job. Of course I guess she realizes that McCain and she won''t be getting into the White House unless it''s by invitation from President Obama! I was still in the process of choosing whom to vote for and her nomination, listening to her, reading about her and now this has pushed me to DEFINETLY voting for OBAMA!!!!!!

I agree and am not impressed with the limits being imposed by the McCain camp. Its just that the stuff the media has given us so far has been trash. We need to be hearing from the candidates on their voting records and what they have done for their constituents. Not about teen pregnancy or if she can be VP and a mom or if her prayer at church was appropriate. They haven''t been given much to go on I realize but at least stick with facts about their public service record. - Reply to this comment

- The GOP has turned into something akin to the Nazi party in WWII with their propaganda. Really sick. Thwe re[publicans certainly don''t deserve to be voted in...vote out the GOP from the courthouse to the Whitehouse.

- Frankly, I wish the entire press corp would completely abandon her, McCain, and their handlers. That this woman is prepared to be Vice President, much less President, is a complete and total sham. She can''t stand the heat so she fires the chef and abandons the kitchen. Sarah Palin is not capable of standing on her own two feet. Never has been, never will be. She''s only as strong as the people she has surrounding her that are given the task of covering her rear end....first Tad, now McCain handlers. This is setting back the cause and making a mockery of all that women have fought for. In truth, the Republicans don''t have a VP candidate but I''ll bet Jeff Dunham has gotten himself a brilliant idea for a new puppet.

- I would add there can be NO question in anyone''s honest mind, McCain''s choice of Palin was 100% lock, stock and barrel a case of campaign over country.

- The isolation of a major party''s VP choice is beyond the pale. At first is was questionable but somewhat understandable. Give her time to get in the race. But by now it''s crazy and unacceptable. What, is she just on the ticket as a symbol? She could be a heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world!

- Awwww . . . the media is upset that Palin doesn''t agree with them that the road to the white house should go through them. Well who would after all the crazy lies and myths that they have helped to promote of the last 3 weeks. Granted there are issues that should be questioned about Palin. But made up stories about book banning, cutting funds for special needs families, cutting funds for teen mothers etc . . . Their credibility with Palin has been lost. I''d hesitate to give them anything if I were in her shoes. They seem to be doing a bang up job of finding stories on her without her help

- Television networks, including CBS News maintain a policy that if they are prevented from having an editorial presence at an event, they will not allow cameras to shoot it.
Great, and we hope the networks follow through on this!!! She becomes less newsworthy the longer they resist her being vetted for the American public. The only thing that is "compelling" about her anymore is just how ignorant on the issues is she that they cannot allow Americans to talk to her. It boggles the mind that there are people who accept these manipulations by palin''s bush advisors without a peep. The hope is that the American public has learned a thing or two about bush advisors since they manipulated the last two elections.
A nice interview after these meetings would be one with Kissenger. - Reply to this comment
- What kind of person is crazy enough to use a Yahoo account to conduct official government business?
And now we want to make her Vice President and give her top security clearance and access to all our nation''s secrets?
Doesn''t seem like such a good idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPi17bX_4Ec - Reply to this comment
