- In all due respect with the coverage thats been given to her can you really blame them? It''''s been a four week witch hunt (the modern day witch trials!)

Oh, baloney! Besides, she apparently has NO problem with Rev Muthee who believes in conducting REAL witch hunts. Google it. - Reply to this comment
- Sarah Palin surely must appear in disparity to what she really is. In fact, that just may be her only strong point is to obscure, or even appear in contrast to what she really stands for. This must be the manner in which she has been elected in her short political career, but her actions while in office (and previous to?) that are being so tightly kept under the conspiracy of silence is the definite reveal.

- Very simple...If there are no reporters around when Palin speaks to grown ups, her ignorance will not be reported.
As an American, I very much resent the foriegn officials meeting with Palin. She has no official status and the purpose is purely for photo-ops and to give some cover to her "foreign experiece". - Reply to this comment
- Awwww . . . the media is upset that Palin doesn''''t agree with them that the road to the white house should go through them. Well who would after all the crazy lies and myths that they have helped to promote of the last 3 weeks. Granted there are issues that should be questioned about Palin. But made up stories about book banning, cutting funds for special needs families, cutting funds for teen mothers etc . . . Their credibility with Palin has been lost. I

She did inquire about banning books (not something you do if you have no intention to follow through on it); she also cut funds for special needs children before she had her OWN special needs child. These are facts and are easily researchable from extremely credible sources. Stop whining. - Reply to this comment
- Time for me to go now, I have said enough. I have important things to do. Sorry many of you liberals are so intent on taking away my right of political choice and then call me stupid in the process. Can''t imagine how some of you will feel in your hearts if your candidate loses. I can handle it, if my candidate doesn''t win and I will support your candidate if they are the winner and will not call you stupid or try to dissuade you from your choice. But I am not deviating from my choice, McCain/Palin for President and Vice President of this USA.

- With only 6 weeks to go before the election, the American people have not had a chance to see anything more than a ''sanitized'' version of Palin.
Voters have a right to know who she really is.
If the McCain camp truly feel that she is worth the votes of the American people, they would let her speak, instead of keeping the ''pitbull'' on such a short leash.
If she is elected, she may very well have to face tougher situations than a press conference.
We have the right to see how/if she can handle it. - Reply to this comment
- At the end of Sarah Mooseburger''s first term:
Dow 4000
Unemployment 15%
Foreclosures 20%
A dozen more bank failures.
2 trillion dollar deficit.
The American voters re-elect her in a landslide because she shares their "values". - Reply to this comment

- Sorry to say, but ''news'' in the current format is nothing but entertainment. There is no desire for hard hitting news, might turn away some viewers and affect ratings.
And what is amazing is that for the most part, all the media is going for it. What happened today should have happened on day 1. Unfortunately, it will soon be back to business as usual and the McCain camp will again dictate and use the news media for their purpose.
Really sad, since the news was supposed to be the PEOPLE''s watchdog. It is now a tool for political gain. - Reply to this comment
