I am, as many others are, sick and tired of the Media trying to protect Palin. The campaign continues to shield her from the Press and from any questions. This should be a daily topic on each network. The public should be reminded of this every minute of the day. It should be repeated relentlessly so that the voters would understand what and who we are dealing with.

If you want to continue the secrecy of Bush and Cheney, then vote for McCain/Palin. The Media addressed the issue today only because of the restrictions the campaign imposed on the press during Palin%u2019s meetings with foreign leaders, but tomorrow, it will be swept under the rug. This is really serious and speaks for the entire philosophy of McCain. Where are the courage and the integrity of the Media or do they want the same situation as when we went to Iraq, without questioning or challenging the authorities?

She is getting far too much newstime, just as Britney Spears did. It has all been hype and, in fact, her entire candidancy has been a hoax. The American people are being duped again by the Bushies. One wonders if McCain is also one who is being duped. Media ~ forget her, no more pictures, no more quotes, only print what happens as a result of her actions. God knows, we have heard her speech enough.

hey Scot,
why not do a HUGE story on Biden and then give palin...and ONLY palin.....equal time? don''t take any campaign statement or any surrogate. BIDEN AND PALIN story. Then they''l lhave to decide if Biden is gonna get ALL that FREE press.

to palin fans: she is a coward of the worst kind. Complete and total moronic chicken.....she even banned FOX NEWS---are they liberal also? So, that leaves only one conclusion---she is the biggest embarrassment of mccain;s career.

PALIN = COWARD
MCCAIN = COWARD

They really are running a brilliant campaign. Objectively, they are terrible candidates and the environment is all wrong for them and so they need to make every day about another non-issue... Why won''t she talk, they are sexist, that ad isn''t fair, the media is biased...

The idea that a warhawk whose most consistent economic philosophy is deregulation at a time of economic crisis related specifically to a lack of regulation and a hockey mom (however sweet that sounds) can be in a close race for the white house at this time shows that Karl Rove still knows what he''s talking about.

"...but if an Alien were to make that choice by using the blogs as a guide, he would pick McCain on the sheer stupidity of the Obiden bloggers. ...Lord help us if the young actually get out to vote."

So you are a self-appointed arbiter of blogging excellance, able to discern which candidate''s supporters are intelligent and factual? Let''s look at your own posting, based on your criteria.

"but if an Alien were to make that choice by using the blogs as a guide, he would pick McCain on the sheer stupidity of the Obiden bloggers."

Alien is not a proper noun, therefore you erred in capitalizing it. Also, based on your context, blog posting information would not be used as a guide, it would be analyzed for accuracy and evidence of rational, logical thought processes.

I could continue, but I also don''t have the time or patience to correct a McCain-supporting blowhard. I am neither young nor ignorant, but I AM an Obama supporter. I would also say, "Lord help us," if McCain is elected and we''re subjected to another four years of Republican malfeasance. (BTW, any intelligent alien, assuming its culture valued a democratic form of government, would approve of young adults being involved in the election process.)

McCain-Palin have made a campaign decision and only time will tell whether it is a good one...

They recognize that they have an inferior platform, an unqualified candidate and have turned the straight talk express into one of the lowest meanest most deceitful campaigns in our history.

They know that the media will call them on these issues and so they made a calculated decision to demonize the media and with a large usually closed-minded non-data driven segment of society, this is a tenable strategy. The side benefit for them is that bad media coverage plays into this strategy and so once they''ve committed to this, being completely dishonest and dismissive is not such a bad way to go.

The question will be whether there are enough independents who see through the cr@p.

SO STOP FOLLOWING HER AROUND.

Would you cover one staged Broadway play every day, with the same actress and same script, as NEWS? Well that'' s what her staged events are so quit lapping them up. That campaign is using the "media accessibility" as a SMOKESCREEN TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM ISSUES.....AND TO PALIN.
SO QUIT. DON''T LET THEM USE YOU.
